OK, now I am confused about this perk.

So, is the free lunch something that must be done on embarkation day or can it be another day?     (We are in a central park balcony on Allure.)

Is the main dining room open for lunch on embarkation day?

(We are traveling with another couple who will be in an ocean balcony, so we want to be able to go to lunch together on embarkation day.)

The lunch does not have to be on the first day.

The MDR is not normally open on embarkation day.

We have a family booked for four rooms in this type of room for March. Should I contact the travel agent about this?

No need to.  It is automatically assigned to every cabin.  You don’t ever receive any paperwork confirming it.

As Ourusualbeach said, it should automatically, but it helps to get confirm form your TA.

There is no confirmation form that Royal provides for this.

If it was a TA provided perk then I would agree but this is not.

Hoping that this is indeed a regular perk of our cabin. Wouldn't mind a lunch at Jaime's or Johnny Rockets. Just didn't see this as a perk for the room when we booked for our April cruise. We got $100 OBC instead.

It is listed in the description of the cabin itself along with square feet, type beds, etc.

When the promo went quiet after it was introduced, I called my TA and received verbal confirm.  I know you're going to tell me that verbal confirms are worthless, but if told by TA and not true, I'll take my business elsewhere.

By the way, I haven't seen any form of advertising in the last couple of years regarding the promo/perk.

Every CP or BW cabin will have this listed in the description when you go to book.  Verbal confirmation from a TA means squat.

I was informed a few months ago that CP guests on Oasis are allowed to use their Giovanni's lunch on embarkation day, but it seems this is no longer the case, and it is only usable on sea days. Any more updated information/experiences from anybody?

We were on the Oasis january 6th of this year in a CPB. We received a free bottle of wine in our stateroom and lunch any day the restaurants were open at either giovanni's, johnny rockets, or sabor. We had to make a reservation the first day of the cruise. We chose sabor and it was EXCELLENT!

Thank you so much for your timely reply! I’m waiting for my port transfer right now, and liked the offerings at Sabor a bit more than Giovanni’s so now I know what I’m having for lunch today!

I am booked on Harmony in CP Balcony and recall the lunch for 2, bottle of red and casino credit (I think, can’t remember).....my question, is there a certain day we can have the complimentary lunch (i.e sea days only or any day during the cruise)?

This is my first RC cruise so I am new to the RCCL Family 😊
