MAGSMFC Posted February 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Can anyone please tell me the opening times of Michaels Lounge on the Constellation and what time they serve alcohol. Can you call in there during the day for a non alcoholic beverge. What is the lounge like on the Constellation. Thanks
Rare Jim_Iain Posted February 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Michael's Club is open 24 hours a day but is staffed only after 7:00 AM. The bartender may not be on at 7:00 AM but you can get a drink. You can stop in any time and pick up a non-alcoholic beverage. Unlike the S-Class where they have a big self service refrigerator you will have to ask a server to get you a drink. The lounge was updated about a year ago and is quite nice. Northern Aurora Posted February 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Asking what the MC is "like" on the Constellation is a broad question, but I actually prefer the M-class MCs over the S-class ones.

Orator Posted February 21, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2019 MC in Constellation is my favorite and I've been in them all except Retreat on Edge. Love the Lion and Snake sculpture. Aso prefer M Class MC to S Class.
wrk2cruise Posted February 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 21, 2019 On Summit just before the dry dock and the MC hours were 7:30 am to 11:30 pm which was different than the 7 am to 12 midnight I've experienced over the last few years. Wonder if this is going fleet wide and if so why? You can get anything from the bar during these operating hours.
Paulras Posted February 21, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Only been in MC on S class ships but going on Constellation in December (for the first time in about 13 years). What makes it better on M class versus S?
wrk2cruise Posted February 21, 2019 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2019 In my opinion it's a little bigger and not "L" shaped as on "S" class. There is also a door to the outside deck which is glass so lets in natural light.
verizon Posted February 21, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Haven't fall in love with M class ship.Hope the revolution of M class will change my mind.

Not only do I like the door to the outside deck with the curved window alcove, but for me the M-class proportions are somehow more pleasing. I was asking on a different thread about the high top table in the curved Window Alcove. I was told it was no longer there and the area was totally redone. How? I don't know yet, but was disappointed that our favorite place to sit was gone.

emmas gran Posted February 22, 2019 #14 Share Posted February 22, 2019 By the signature they support a soccer team (Manchester Utd) so are probably from the UK and may not know it's suites only.

I was referring to the Post-Revolution on Millennium I believe Constellation will be one of the last ships to go through the Revolution.

crazyman3 Posted March 13, 2019 #17 Share Posted March 13, 2019 We love MC. Our favourite has been on the Connie. We too like the proportions. It's a better shape for pre-dinner live music. Also, the MC concierge's desk is closer to the action! On the S class, the desk is near the interior entrance door. Sorry to hear that the 'table in the window' has been removed. Doc2725 Posted April 18, 2019 #18 Share Posted April 18, 2019 Is there a physical bar in Michael's Club on the Constellation? Do they ever have live music?
