So tiny I can't read them. Those who can decipher, please comment on any changes you can see. I do know the new suites are being installed on the port side of Sky Lounge as they are on Reflection. I believe the library is still there, right? We have 9294 booked for July. Anything changed on the slant balcony cabins?

While looking at the page you wish to enlarge, press your PC's "Ctrl" and "+" key simultaneously. At least with my FireFox browner that will enlarge what's on the screen. You can do that multiple times to further enlarge the screen. Remember to reset your screen to the original size by pressing your PC's "Ctrl" and "-" key simultaneously as many times as necessary..

Retreat Sun deck on 16. The basketball court is on 15 and is still showing in the new deck plans,

Those deck plans also have entirely wrong dates. I wouldn't put too much faith in them. The renderings definitely show a hot tub and staircase in the middle of the current basketball courts. I also think it would be really odd to have a basketball court directly under The Retreat.

I have to agree.  The renderings definitely show a two level Retreat, and there is nowhere to go UP from 16.😎  At least it looks like they have attempted to address the shade/no shade issue.

People will be jumping from side to side before and after noon.

Also on that sailing.

Just moved to a Sunset Balcony. We had one on Holland previously and enjoyed it. Hope this won't be a bumpy ride, only seasick☹️ once before on a prior Carnival cruise and It was"Green Eggs and Ham" for breakfast with the youngest grand kids.🙂

Does this mean no access to any outer decks forward for all non-Suite guests? No outside view anymore if you e.g. travel into a Fjord in Norway or approach a nice port?

Wouldnt the deck area in front of the fitness center still be a spot for that purpose? It’s not a huge area but still could address the need.

Based on those renderings, everything forward of the stairs leading to deck 15 from deck 14 would be suites only. While you wouldn't have a direct forward view, you can still see plenty from the sides of the ship.

The aft (or back) of the ship is not suppose to change.  You'll be A-OK!

Sorry to see Silk Harvest go.   Le Petit Chef is too gimmicky for us !   Hope perhaps it becomes the reg Bistro menu by day with crepesm special  brunch buffet,  and rotating lunches as  on EDGE.

The  teen game area ( Den on Seven) seems oddly placed ( as per the announcement)..????  We  would  also not enjoy anything over or under a basketball court, which will apparently be staying ???.

They seem to be cramming in quite a bit on the Lawn deck.  With the hot glass  staying.... it appears there is no chance for a  Lawn Club Grill or similar food venue there. Hope movie sounds do not affect lower deck balcony peace and quiet.

Guess we'll see how it works out after the refurb! We doubted alot about EDGE but ended up liking it!

Based on the only images released so far, the basketball court is gone and replaced by the Retreat Deck.

The Lawn shouldn't be any more congested than on Reflection or Silhouette. No mention of ever putting in an additional restaurant on ships without the Lawn Club Grill. The screen is already in place on M class and I would expect it to be used similarly. At least it's some attempt to make better use out of that space. With so much deck space now exclusive to ~5% of total cabins, I think the lawn needs a chance to be better utilized during the day.

The Library is still listed on decks 10 and 11 as it is today. The Card Room area shows a change to 4 inside cabins.

We were on Equinox a few weeks ago. Gastropub was strange. The bar was lit extremely bright but the rest of the space was dark. Very rarely people in there and sometimes a random bartender would appear, other times it was empty. People would walk in, wander around for a minute, then leave. I think that space and the Cellar Masters version has a little bit of an identity crisis.

We were on Equinox at the end of March and loved the Gastropub.  It was a little crowded a few nights so service was a bit slow.  Love the atmosphere and one of the only placed to watch a game.

Re Jeremiah 1212 post above.(.could not quote)

Agree that the Lawn area has been underutilized in the past.

Just disappointed there won't be a LCG instead of the  Hot Glass feature..For us it was a one and done that takes up alot of space.  It does seem to still be popular. !

I expect EQUINOX will continue to be one of our favs  along with SILHOUETTE ,  and now EDGE.

I'll add another vote of disappointment for the retirement of Silk Harvest for Le Petit Chef. Silk Harvest was an amazing fusion of Asian flavors, a good value, and gave guests a variety of options. To me, LPC is an overpriced Disney-style gimmick with a prix fixe menu tailored towards least common denominator tastes in fine dining: surf and turf. I'm glad I didn't make reservations for Silk Harvest which still shows on the cruise planner.

I don't want to be a total Debbie Downer. I hope there will be much more to like. I'm looking forward to the movie screen and alcoves.
