Interiors for a November 2020 crossing almost sold out!?

I was just checking prices on the Enchanted Princess' inaugural transatlantic crossing, and it appears that interior cabins are almost completely sold out 600 days before sailing.

Can this be true, or is Princess.com screwed up again!?

Probably true. I had to take a guarantee on a Grand Voyage segment 4 weeks after it went on sale -21 months out. Inaugural voyages are very popular.

This isn't a true inaugural voyage, but it's the ship's inaugural transatlantic.

The Enchanted's true inaugural sailing is in June of 2020, and cabins are still available. This crossing takes place in November.

It is a new ship. Very popular. The Sky Princess TA this Nov is the same way.

So......if there are no cabins in my category available when this sailing is eventually included in the 3 for free sale, I won't be able to re-fare, or get free grats and obc, will I? I hope that's not the case!

True, but if you have a booking, keep checking and perhaps an Inside will open up before a sale.

My concern is I booked an interior guarantee. I normally combine the 3 for free sale with my casino discount, and there are now only 11 interior cabins left, 600 days before sailing. By the time 3 for free rolls around in September, there will nothing left and I'll miss out on $189 in free grats, and $150 in OBC. That's giving up $678 between the two of us, not something I'm sure I want to do at this point.

This TA was opened up to Elite passengers when I was on the Crown TA in November so I immediately snagged an inside cabin for myself.  I was also able to rebook my Sky TA in November from 15 days to the full 28 day passage which Princess kept saying was sold out.  If you are going on a cruise anytime soon, see the future cruise person on the ship.  They can sometimes get you in even though website or reps say sold out.  They are really helpful

Wow, have the prices really gone up.  Granted I get the casino discount but I was able to book a WS the day the sailing was released to elites for only $400 more.  There's gonna be a lot of people on this boat!!

These inaugural TA's sell quickly. Have never done it like this before but booked Sky early while the free grats were being offered.

Booked early for Enchanted TA with no free grats and hoping to get it down the road. However price is up a few hundred pp since we booked so that is not looking good.

In both cases booked inside guarantee and will be interesting to see what they give us

We're probably going to cancel. The fact that this is an inaugural TA is not worth giving up over $600 of perks we normally get.

I'm not even 60 years old and have many chances to take a transatlantic without losing my perks.

This voyage would have been sold several ways:

a) just the 15 days

b) just the 13 days

c) all 28 days

Cabins sold for just the 13 days or just the 15 days would be shown as not available for all 28 days. Similarly, cabins available for the full 28 days would be shown as not available for just the 15 days and just the 13 days.

When you say "sold out", were you referring to the 28 days as a single booking or the 13 days as a second booking to go along with your original booking? The rep that helped you may have been able to move an available cabin from one of the ways not sold out to give you the booking you wanted.

I was originally booked on Just the TA then decided to add the 14 day Med portion.  She was able to add that - BA guarantee.  It could have been that between the time I was traveling and met with her on board, some cabins opened up but at least I was glad I asked her.

The Sky Princess 3-Day Inaugural Getaway (December 4, 2019) was completely sold out 452 days prior to the sailing. As soon as they sold the last suite, Princess closed the bookings. I think it is going to be full of TA's, dignitaries, VIP's and press. A handful of inside cabins opened up a few months ago at two and a half times the normal rate. The inside cabins were gone in less than a day at $919 pp for a 3-day cruise. I paid $1,378 for an aft PH in July of 2018. I'm hoping to book the Enchanted for the cruise following the inaugural TA in November 2020. There are a lot of inaugural enthusiasts out there!
