I cannot wait to board on 4/27 and eat myself silly!  Your review is the most comprehensive I've read, and it has gotten me so excited for my upcoming cruise!  Thank you!

For the person asking about B709. It should be quiet. It’s not right by the elevator. The first pic is taken from the elevator hallway looking towards your cabin. The other is from B709 looking toward the elevator.

That was me.  Thank you so much!  We saved a bunch of money by switching!

Thank you so much for your detailed, informative and fun “live from”! We are boarding the Royal on April 20, so this has been an awesome preview of what is to come! Thanks again for the time and effort you put into this! PS Hermosa Beach is one of my favorite places on Earth! That’s where we’re staying our pre-cruise night!

I want OFF this carnival ride NOW!

We’ve been on this itinerary at least 13 times and this is THE worst.

Where did my sea legs go?

We are in E107 in the bow and quite a bit more movement up here.

I love the cabin, but not for this itinerary. I would definitely choose it if doing the Caribbean though.

Haha, reminds me of the time I did this cruise and got a free upgrade to an aft suite. The last day I would have paid to get off the ship. I was actually slightly airborne when attempting to pack. For my upcoming cruise on 4/27 I picked a lower midship cabin . But regardless every time I’ve done this cruise the last day is a roller coaster .

Haha,  airborne is a great description.

Have always loved this cruise, and it’s been awhile sine we’ve done it, but guess we’re more acclimated to the Caribbean cruises now.

We have E108 booked for a future cruise, but I don’t think that will be happening now. LOL

10 day Caribbean is my favorite, but I picked this one as I needed a break, the price is right and no air fare. Next year I’m doing the 14 day Caribbean on the Sky!

Dinner at Crown Grill. Off that suite guests are out at the worst table. Hmmm NCL tops Princess with the suite life treatment hands down!!6c6c309043035c563768fc5714a5aa45.jpg

How does pricing compare for suites between the two lines? We are sailing Haven in Sept and the price tag on that was WAAAAYYYY more than I would normally be comfortable paying, but I wanted to give it a try since everyone raves about it. We sailed in a suite a couple of times on Princess and, while the price was steep, it wasn't insane back then....

Yes, the Haven has gone up in price, HOWEVER the experience is AMAZING! Once you go Haven you’ll never want to cruise any other way! Which ship will you be on?

Bliss - sailed in a balcony last year and loved it!

I'm scared by your comment - I can't afford to make Haven a regular thing! LOL

You will LOVE that Haven! The Haven restaurant, bar and observation lounge will be so wonderful for you. The butlers are great but don’t forget to communicate your wishes. They want to serve so let them! You will get to book all of your restaurant times, excursions and show times way before everyone else - 120 days out. Do it. You can always change once onboard. Enjoy!! Plus you will be ESCORTED onboard before everyone else to the Haven lounge. Eat lunch in the Haven that day. It’s an awesome experience.

Rib Eye. Good but not great. 8 out of 10 forks. They should put some sort of rub on their steaks. Just my opinion...

Plus, we were talking, and they really give you way too much food. We love the European river cruises (Tauck) because they give you many courses paired with wine, but they are smaller, so you can eat and enjoy them.
