This is often what we pack to take on a cruise, but we just don't have the room this time.  We might have to buy a bottle on board.  :)

Sadly it has been a physically taxing cruise for me. I didn’t explore the ship much. Didn’t go forward of the IC. I am on Caribe near the rear elevators. Luckily most of my meals were in Horizon or Allegro. Went to Concerto twice and Alfredo’s once. My son and DIL went to Alfredo’s three times. I should be at Salt Lake Airport just after 3 PM MST. I’m sure our cat will be happy to see us . He will be love starved.

We saw the Encore show last night with the new cast. The vocalists and dancers were really good, especially the soprano. The show is more of a review. No plot. I must say NCL had better entertainment. I plan on giving my final review and comparison once I’m home. Getting ready for our final breakfast onboard. 2f2abdebc0102296df6c01f02cf9e97b.jpg

So....what do you say about the MedallionNet WiFi ? Is it worth the 59.99 online price ?

It’s awesome. I never had a problem uploading photos. CC gets wacky but that has nothing to do with the WiFi. I was also able to stream LIVE without any issues. Really amazing!

What was in the suite upgraded bathroom amenities? Elite guests are meant to get the same amenities, but they seem to have been cut in half - when I asked the steward, she said that's just how it is now. Wondering if that is really the case, or just another elite perk that they are trying to downsize....

Thanks for sharing your experience!  It looked and sounded like a great cruise and you have really helped build my excitement for our upcoming sailing on the Royal.  I especially appreciate the Patters and menus and I really thank you for taking so much time to take and post all of those helpful pictures!

 

 When we were in our first suite we received a disembarkation group that I wasn't really pleased with so I asked about the VIP disembarkation.  I was told that suite guests are more than welcome to just go to the customer service desk and ask to change to which ever group they prefer so I've done just that every time I've wanted to change and they've always been more than happy to immediately switch me to my first choice and provide the corresponding tags. So it does seem to be policy that suite guests can basically choose their disembarkation time/group but I definitely think they need to make it more clear (in writing) what they mean by VIP disembarkation.  It would be really nice if they just stated clearly that suite guests can disembark at any time of their choosing and then provide suite tags for luggage so that they know to have that luggage ready at the start of disembarkation.  I definitely agree that NCL does a much better job with this, even though I've never sailed in the Haven I have witnessed them escorting their suite guests through disembarkation and I must admit that I was a bit jealous;)

We were off the ship by 8:30 and through customs by 9:00.

 

Good for you.  We just started down stairways and walked off. Someone asked up our debarkation group.  I said suite; and they said have a nice day.  We were thru customs and at taxi stand in fifteen minutes.  This was Feb on CB

You nailed it! They really should inform suite guests about all of the perks.

According to room attendants...they give what is available.. the last 3 years they have eliminated the gel/shampoo...for us mere mortals, however that is still available in suites, I noticed a gel in one of HBC's photos.

 My last 2 cruises got the eye mask which was missing in the past...but  have gotten all sorts of combos, for awhile only lotion, no conditioner. Have had my attendant hunt down for me a missing item when I first noticed the cut backs. No worries now.

Princess really lacks for amenities in their suites other cruise lines provide superior products.

 

I am sure HBC..will give more details she is great at that...that's why I've stated tuned.....
