islandhalls Posted April 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2019 We are just choosing our stateroom for our next cruise, and I was looking at the deck plan and noticed that the stateroom that we picked had a convertible sofa. I can't think that I ever noticed a difference between sofas on any of our Regent cruises, but on our most recent cruise on Crystal Serenity the convertible sofa in our Penthouse was like sitting on a rock bench. Any input would be appreciated!
Rare ronrick1943 Posted April 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2019 We had a pull out in one of the suites, we didn't use it for a bed. It was find, it was like any other sofa for sitting. At lease we didn't notice anything.....
poss Posted April 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2019 We were also quite comfortable.
Hambagahle Posted April 5, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2019 Same for us - we didn't even know it was convertible until we looked closely...
JMARINER Posted April 5, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2019 I have one in our Explorer suite right now. It has a very long seat so if you want back support you may need to use a pillows or two behind your back. J
Paul Bradley Posted April 5, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2019 To turn this around, we've booked one of these suites because our daughter will be travelling with us. What are the convertible sofas like as beds?

Do you mean the seat is deep wide or long?

Seat is deep. If one is under 5"6" you can not sit back without pillow for back support.
