yankeenurse Posted April 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2019 We are cruising to The Bahamas at Christmas. We would like to cruise to Canada next year. Does anyone know if Carnival will add cruises to Canada?
ProgRockCruiser Posted April 18, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2019 I think the 2020 season is already finalized - I don't see any particular obvious gaps (maybe I'm missing them). The next round of cruise bookings to be opened up are for May 2021 and beyond.
bakersdozen12 Posted April 18, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 18, 2019 (edited) Carnival does have cruises to Canada/New England in both September and October of 2020. Edited April 18, 2019 by bakersdozen12

I was assuming the OP knew about those, and was wondering if more would be added. But good point, just in case.
MCC retired Posted April 18, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 18, 2019 (edited) Canada/NE is a short cruising season for most all the cruise lines . Too bad 😕 as Canada/NE is not all about leaves . Edited April 18, 2019 by MCC retired

Schoifmom Posted April 18, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 18, 2019 FWIW, we did Carnival's CA/NE itinerary out of NYC a couple of years ago and loved it! We sailed in late September and the weather was just about perfect. CA/NE cruises are typically only in early September through early November. bury me at sea Posted April 18, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 18, 2019 I would love to cruise up the east coast to Canada. If Carnival offered that route from Galveston I would jump on it. Don't see it happening.
mets123 Posted April 18, 2019 #9 Share Posted April 18, 2019 Royal does that route from Bayonne and Baltimore and Boston from June thru late October. Boston usually just September and October.

Nice enough cruise: quite sedate compared to warm weather Caribbean cruises! Most ppl imagine they're going to sail past a coastline filled with autumn colours right there in your face... Nothing is further from the reality. You'll see the fall colours only when you go ashore! Although we did see some distant whale activity en route to Boston
myjillian Posted April 19, 2019 #12 Share Posted April 19, 2019 We try to take a New England/ Canada cruise from different lines about every 3 years. It never gets "old hat"

Shipcats6 Posted April 20, 2019 #14 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Last August we did Holland America’s Montreal to Ft. Lauderdale and it was wonderful. So much to see and do. Go if you get a chance on any ship.
