aharris0614 Posted May 9, 2019 #179 Share Posted May 9, 2019 If you get a chance before you get off the ship to snap a couple photos of an accessible balcony cabin, I would love to see them! They are on deck 6 and 7, on either side of the midship elevators. Thanks! And great photos so far. Looking forward to the rest of your week. Rare Radio Posted May 9, 2019 Author #180 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Hello everyone and good day. . . My plans got changed a little and I did not start off at the Dockyard. I decide to go back to Oleander Cycles and rent a scooter for the day. I have to take it back by noon tomorrow. I really wanted to go to Horseshoe Bay Beach. I came to Bermuda twice last year (Sept/Oct 2018) but did not have a chance to go to that beautiful beach. There have been some changes made since I was there last. The parking area, Taxi area, and scooter parking areas have all been increased. They have added Danger signs for people who wanted to climb the cliffs. One thing that hasn’t changed is the beauty of Horseshoe Bay Beach. It may be one of the most delightful beaches I have ever been to. The pink sand, the caves, and lagoon are still there. I then drove back to the National Museum of Bermuda. This is located on the big fortress that everyone can see when they arrive by Cruise Ship. The cost is not bad ($15.pp) and there is a lot to see. The National Museum of Bermuda used to be called Bermuda Maritime Museum until the name was changed in 2009. The Museum explores the maritime and island history of Bermuda. Today was a perfect weather day with warm temps (77F) with a slight breeze and sunny skies all day. I am looking forward to one more day in Bermuda. Here are a few pics from today. . . Radio I have been coming to Oleanders for 15 years There was a lot of beautiful scenery on the way to the beach Beautiful sights at every turn This is a beautiful resort Horseshoe Bay Beach was packed today Here is the view from up on the cliffs The lagoon is perfect for families It's a long way up there I will be carefull The sand is beautiful The food is a little pricey 5

CardowMD Posted May 10, 2019 #184 Share Posted May 10, 2019 I have a question. How does one go about taking a motorcycle on board? I have never seen that before, but does seem rather handy. The photos are amazing and looking forward to my aft Cabin in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the will have to service tenders on port side and the ship facing out! Either way get a great view. I would have thought that prices at both places would be about the same.

I wondered how we kept seeing this large group on every island we visited until we saw them waiting to board Silhouette, here in Dominica.

Rare Radio Posted May 10, 2019 Author #190 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Good morning and Welcome to DAY 6 of "LIVE" from Celebrity Summit. The last day in Bermuda will be a very sunny day. The forecast is for sunny skies, and a high of 75f. I am very happy about that. I was able to have dinner last night at Qsine and it was very good and very entertaining. Do not eat lunch if you plan in going to Qsine for dinner. I ate so much that I have to go to a Well Being Seminar tomorrow. "Secrets to a Flatter Stomach" I was able to stay up for the Moon Dance Party last night. There wasn't much dancing but the music was very good. I may scoot around this morning but I can't go for long as my scooter must be back before noon. I should have time to do some shopping at Clocktower Mallor or some of the vendors here at the dockyard. All passengers are kindly requested to be back on board no later than 2:30. Celebrity Summit will pull away from the pier slowly by 3 p.m. this afternoon. Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. Thanks for tuning in. Radio Full Moon Party last night on Deck 10 Full Moon Party warm up with House Band Long Play Oceanview Cafe Sunny sunny Dockyard Day Another beautiful day is in store No chair hogs here. . . Rare Turtles06 Posted May 10, 2019 #191 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Radio, thanks once again for taking the time out of your trip to do this, and also for your beautiful photos. I'm glad you are getting some good weather! Regarding Qsine -- has anyone on the staff mentioned whether and, if so, when, it will be turned into Le Petit Chef? There have been some rumors here on CC about this happening in August (it was supposed to have been March), but so far that's all they are. (Speaking only for myself, I hope it remains as Qsine but I don't think it will.) Enjoy the rest of your cruise!

I use several cameras but for this "LIVE", I have been using my GoPro Hero 7 and and a Google Pixel 3. Thanks again for your very nice comments. You should join my group which I am not allowed to mention on Cruise Critic. But if you wanted to see more "Cruising with Radio" I'm sure you know how to do a search on another Social Media site.
