She's on vacation for several more weeks, back to EQ in Julyish, then onto Edge in August thru September. BTW it isn't a secret, this was posted previously and maybe Radio didn't see your question?? Sometimes CC is wonky. The poster of this question has been asking on other threads as well...they seemed very determined to find out the captain lol!! 2

PRH Posted May 10, 2019 #203 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Captain Ioannis is lovely and funny. We got to know him in December and he and his crew were superb in handling a port strike crisis. Lots of good and timely communications. We were impressed.

registrar Posted May 10, 2019 #207 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Thanks! LaCa Gal I guess it’s about as much as an excursion for 2 would cost. Would be convenient to see the island at your own pace. My scooter days are over!!!! To dangerous!
Rare Radio Posted May 10, 2019 Author #208 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Hello everyone and good day. . . We are on our way home. we left a little late from the pier. I heard one of the Officers at the Gangway suggest that they were waiting for 6 more pax. They must have come on board as I heard no announcements. I only rode down to Glass Beach on the scooter and hung out for a few for some pics and vids. I walked into a couple of shops but nothing caught my eye. I was able to return my scooter and was back on the ship by around noon. After a nice Cafe Al Bacio Igloo (Frappuccino) I was able to watch a little news. Tonight is Chic Night (Formal Night) and Lobster is on the menu. I will try to post again after dinner with some answer from previous questions . . . Oh, by the way. . . The weather today was perfect. Thanks for tuning in. Radio Celebrity Summit from Clocktower Mall Oracle Team USA in front of the Transportation Museum Clocktower Mall Beautiful Glass Beach I love it here . . . itis only about a mile from the Dockyard It's time to move the "Radio Press Room" inside Celebrity Summit pulls away from the pier slowly 4

I'm not sure what that means but the dealer suggested that a Craps Player would know. Radio . 1

warmwinds Posted May 10, 2019 #212 Share Posted May 10, 2019 I was very excited to see people in swimsuits/IN the water in your beach pictures. I thought May was a little too early for beach weather, I'm very happy it's not. As much as I love Horseshoe Bay, I really like a convenient beach more....I "think" there is a beach walking distance of the ships? (or am I dreaming?) Yes I understand what this means and I look forward to playing some Craps on my cruise. Hopefully lady luck will be kind to me. I did well last time I played in Vegas, but on a land based trip to Aruba I did not do so well. It is still one of my favorite games and if you get the right table the action can be a lot of fun.

Snorkel Park is located at the Dock Yard, near Fun Golf. It's an easy walk, small beach, but convenient if you don't want to venture out of the immediate area. So many beautiful beaches, many frequented by locals such as John Smith's beach. Finished packing and leaving tomorrow morning for Greenwich, CT overnight, then onto Bayonne to board the Summit. Many of the pictures remind me of the Edge; we were on that ship in December. Darcy

I have never seen that before, but does seem rather handy. The photos are amazing and looking forward to my aft Cabin in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the will have to service tenders on port side and the ship facing out! Either way get a great view. I believe the motorcycles are done through a third party tour group. Try know it all Google.

Rare Radio Posted May 11, 2019 Author #220 Share Posted May 11, 2019 (edited) Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 7 of "LIVE" from Celebrity Summit. Today is my final day at sea, and I woke up to a beautiful sunny day. I don't expect the temperature to be as warm as yesterday, but the pool decks will be a buzz of activity. I reallyenjoyed my dinner last night in a Cosmopolitan restaurant. I especially liked the Lobster and Baked Alaska (my favorite) There are several things I would like to do today. I would like to attend the "Oceans Ahead" Captains Talk in the Theater at 10:30 as well as the " Win it in a minute" Game Show. I will try to make it down to the Casino again for some relaxing gestures. . . Celebrity didn't ask for my opinion, and Cruise Critic doesn't care, but I can tell you that I don't care for the paper straws . . . OK, done. . . Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. Thanks for tuning in. . . Radio Our Cruise Director hosted the Elite Officers Party in the Sy Lounge last night. The house band Long Play was very good. I loved the Baked Alaska I am a big fan of Cafe Al Bacio (although I liked it when they called it Cova Cafe) There was a beautiful Sunrise this morning. The pool deck was filling up with sun. . . It looks like another sunny day at sea. . Edited May 11, 2019 by Radio

Holly g Posted May 11, 2019 #222 Share Posted May 11, 2019 Wow! That week went fast! But you seemed to have a fantastic time and had great weather. Sorry to say you will be coming home to rain here starting tonight. Will you be doing a cabin crawl today? Would be fun to see the “new” cabins. Also wondering if the beds are comfortable as we were on Anthem of the Seas this past October and the beds were the worst! Like sleeping on a cement floor. Anyway enjoy the rest of your cruise. Good luck in the casino.
