MyTMo777 Posted May 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2019 We’re considering the Symphony of the Seas. It looks amazing with so many activities and entertainment options. But I can’t seem to find a list of what activities and entertainment are complimentary vs. an additional cost. Can someone point me in the right direction? Ourusualbeach Posted May 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2019 (edited) Pretty much all the entertainment and activities are free. The one thing that comes to mind that isn’t is the Escape room. Heres a link to the cruise compass. Items for a fee have a $ sign listed after them https://issuu.com/hochmania/docs/day_1-1-converted-compressed Edited May 5, 2019 by Ourusualbeach
Grenouille21 Posted May 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2019 I sailed on Symphony in March, and didn't spend much extra on board other than souvenirs, room service breakfast twice, (and the arcade games that my daughter played). The shows are included, and unless you are interested in private Flowrider lessons I believe all of the activities are included, too. Extra expenses: Beverage packages Starbucks Specialty dining Casino Excursions Room Service Specialty classes (cupcake decorating, etc.) We had an amazing cruise! MyTMo777 Posted May 5, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted May 5, 2019 Thank you all so much! We’ve only ever cruised NCL so I’m not familiar with what RCL offers. This is very helpful. Loved the link to the Cruise Compass too!

Just to give you an idea of the types of food and entertainment available. Enjoy the biggest cruise ship in the world. Rare vacationlover_mn Posted May 6, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Playmakers is an extra cost, but drinks are free if you have the drink package. We went there late one night for potato skins and drinks, and it was a nice change of pace.

However.....having said that, you will be blown away by the RCCL Oasis class ships. Just off Harmony and was very pleasantly surprised to see this ship has water slides and The Ultimate Abyss dry slide which Oasis and Allure do not have . I imagine RCCL will add these features when those ships go in dry dock. Surely do hope they do. Must say though that NCL has a water slide that is out of this world. I call it "the drop" slide. It will give you a rush like no slide on the RCCL ships, not even the Ultimate Abyss. Here is a peak of the NCL slide...... NCL's Freefall Waterslide - awesome!!!
