Sorry I wasn’t clear.  The cruise is November of 2020.

I did wonder ! Will check that out later heading out soon for a couple of hours or so.

Really enjoying your posts great photos   and info . With  Bar Harbor wont see that on my Summit cruise but will on a  prior September Globus tour which will also be at an earlier time for the fall colours.Thats next year too for me.

o.k so its Barrier Reef Australia very nice then do you sail on the Dec10 2020 cruise Aus /NZ? Unusual not going to Auckland or Tauranga but is going to Picton , a pretty town part of Marlborough about 1.75 hours from here..There is a supermarket or two in Picton hmm not the cheapest ones.

Many many make that mistake.  You should hear telemarketers when they try to pronounce three vowels in a row.  Instant give away.

Could be worse the Welsh version has 4 vowels, Ieuan lol

Today we took a ships tour of Arcadia National Park.   First on the tour was Cadillac Mountain.  We were given 20 minutes to explore on our own.  Absolutely spectacular views.

After that hat it was a ride around the circular route wit no additional stops.  Personally I was rather disappointed with the tour and can not recommend it.  Just a long boring bus ride

Too bad the tour was a bust, looked like beautiful weather though.

We've taken the Island Explorer free bus (still needed to pay Acadia entrance fee) and enjoyed Acadia at our own pace.  Only thing, they don't go up Cadillac Mountain.  Would definitely recommend it for next time.

Yea the second cruise is Sydney to New Zealand ending in Melbourne on Dec 23.  We are probably staying in Sydney for New Years and have a cruise booked in January in Asia.

Ahhh yes have seen some of the road signs I wouldn’t even attempt to pronounce.   We really love Wales especially Portmeirion.

I have it written down.  Someone at breakfast suggested to get the Senior National Park Pass.  It use to be $10 lifetime but recently increased to $80.  Now that’s inflation but prolly still worth it.

Portland our final port.

The Captains Club hostess has been encouraging us daily to come to Tuscan for breakfast.   Last night she tracked us dow in Blu to encourage us.

True to form we we had breakfast there this morning.    It is well done and a beautiful brunch layout.

Then she delivered the bad news.  The dreaded Departure luggage Tags.

Back in Portland.   Today we are taking tour W18B - Kennebunkport and Scenic Cruise.

There are suppose to be Stormy weather the afternoon.  We almost cancelled but decided to give it a try.  Current forecast is it should hold off until 4:00-5:00.  Fingers crossed.

Yes, it's worth it if you like to visit national parks.  Many charge $25 admission.  I believe that only one of you would need to purchase it if you always go together.  I've had one for years, and it permits you to take a certain number of guests in with you (can't remember the number).  You have a wealth of beautiful parks available to you out west!

Sorry your tour of Acadia wasn't the best, but you did get good weather for the view.  Many times the view is fogged in.

I also hate when these arrive!  Thank you so much for your wonderful pictures and insight. You have made me even more excited for our upcoming Bermuda cruise.

Looking forward to following you again on your next cruise adventure!

After the cruise the boat operator gave great advise on where to and where not to buy lunch.   The Spirit of Massachusetts was top of his list and steps from our tour boat.

Huge Lobster Roll and French Fries with a yummy Garlic Aioli sauce.  D2E16441-A981-4A8E-8AE7-CF4FACFF9F1E.thumb.jpeg.71a2280a247de47016fd2be99d357b5d.jpeg
