Are back to back cruises given any price breaks? We have never done a back to back and are curious.

We have only ever cruised Royal so nit certain if each cruise line is different with regards to this question.

thanks for any insight 🌸

It depends on the cruise line.  Windstar offers a 5% discount to returning cruisers and will apply it to the second week of a B2B even for people who haven't sailed with them previously.  Most of the mass market cruises offer nothing extra.

Nothing on RC. On Celebrity you'll receive a $50.00 B2B discount for each 7 day leg per cabin.

As far as the cruise line is concerned, I would imagine they would prefer the highest revenue to be gained from selling  a particular cabin for a particular week.  Perhaps there are studies which show whether on board spending goes down after a week on board as the novelty wears off - or if it goes up as passengers have tired of the free amenities.

If a particular cabin can sell for $X for one week, would the line be happy to get $X-500 for the second week, just to keep a passenger happy?

Strangely enough, I saved $970 booking an 11-day+10-day as the single 21-day cruise it was also sold as. This was on HAL and was for 5 people in two Verandah cabins.

So what @paul929207 said -- price out all the ways it might be sold. There is no one answer to the original question.
