Finding members?

I enjoyed several members comments and list, since this new format I cannot find any of those I once followed. Is it possible to search for members? Thank you.

Hi S!  Under Search on the right side toward the top, type in the member’s name, choose More Options and click on Find Content under their name when it appears. Hope that helps!

One used to be able to find a name when not positive how it was spelled. The old site had an alphabetical listing so you could click on "P" if looking for PescadoAmarillo for instance. It was easy to find folks even if you didn't know their exact name as you could go through the list. That functionality seems to have vanished when they instituted this "phabulous" new site.

Looking back a few years for some older posters I find that they've been eliminated. 

Probably due to lack of storage space.

That is still possible. Click on the magnifying glass at the right of the search edit. This will bring up a search form with two tabs. Type the first few letters of the member name. Click on the Member Search tab and then the Search Members button in the bottom right of the form. Depending on how much of the name you entered the list of matching members may take several seconds. (If Search Term is left empty it can take over 15 seconds.)

There’s no requirement that any member of Cruise Critic identity where they are from. 

 

On a Roll Call, often one person volunteers to keep a list of those who have joined the Roll Call. Those folks are free to disclose as much or as little about themselves as they want. And since this is a public message board, i think it’s wise not to disclose too much.

No simple way. You could scroll through the roll call thread and manually record the username and, if given location of posters.
