We drop the bags in the room, then head up for some drinks. I drink fun ships until the mint is distributed, then its mojitos.  So either are a good choice.

It's always been the Fun Ship Special for me, every single Carnival cruise.

Nothing says "Caribbean Sail Away" to DH and I like a tall, cold Rum Punch 🍹

During the cruise we drink Crown, Scotch and/or the random Dirty Martini ... but Sail Away is a Festive Occasion !!!  😀😎😉

That's a great way to start a cruise!  But it'd be hard for me to pull that off, since I usually cruise solo. 

 

So on my last two cruises, I had a Fun Ship and a Yellow Bird, respectively.

A Miami Vice is my 1st drink onboard. I'm not a fan of the Funship DOD-- don't like the apricot brandy in them.  

 

A Lava Flow sounds really good-- I must try one my next cruise!

I am a bottomless bubbles kind of guy, but do want to try something alcoholic after arriving onboard.  But don't know much about the selections you have all mentioned.  will have to read up, don't want to experiment on what might taste good.

No one wants of experiment with a $6.00+ drink.  Ask what's in it before buying.

 

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've never had a bad Drink of the Day. 🍹

1/2 oz. Amaretto

3/4 oz. 151 Rum

3/4 oz. Vodka

Right now I'm torn between the Red's Rum Treasure from the Rum Bar (hands down my favorite drink on the ship) and a Twilight Zone (favorite frozen drink on the ship).  It will probably be the Red's Rum Treasure with a burger from Guy's for lunch.  21 days!!!!
