non refundable on-board cruise credit

If we are unable to use all of our "non refundable" on-board cruise credit on the Holland American, is there some way to cash our credit.  I was told there may be a way to use the casino to cash in our credit? or others?

HAL is much wiser now to that possibility BUT as long as you OWE them on your final bill, they often overlook using small amounts of your credit in the casino.

How about adding it to the crew gratuities?

It’s spend it or lose it with non refundable OBC.

 

All kinds of stuff you can do - have a nice dinner in a specialty restaurant (or two 😉 ), order a nice bottle of wine, specialty coffees, whatever you enjoy, attend wine tastings (if you like wine), special themed dinners, buy internet, play bingo, increase the HSC for crew members who have made your experience special, shore excursions, gift shop, laundry package, etc.

Don't know how much shipboard credit you think you may have left at the end of the cruise.  But I would buy either at the beginning of the cruise a bottle of alcohol for the cabin or during the cruise a nice bottle of wine for dinner.

I would love to have this problem.  Have money, will spend😉  Cruise ships have no lack of spending opportunities.

You could always donate it to cancer when they do the walk for a cure on the promenade.

DW was wearing her Onboard for the Cure shirt this morning before changing into her clothes for Church.

I went down to the Passenger Services office the day before departure and cashed out.  Then I gave some to our favorite staff as an extra tip and kept the rest.
