football games shown on ship?

hoping to not miss any NFL games on the breeze in December. red frog bar?

Casino bar had all the national televised games a few weeks ago.  I only made it to red frog once and didn't notice a tv....but it was late evening with Cheers package.

Just off valor, nfl shown in casino and sports bar. No game in red frog. Also shown on screen at the pool but that was saints out of new orleans so that could be why.

College games are pretty limited since Carnival no longer carries the major networks, although they do carry ESPN, ESPN2 and the SEC Network.

Red Frog Pub on the Magic showed college football when we were on her at the end of August. Games were also on in the casino (saw them when we walked through).

I've never cruised during football season before. So it has never mattered to me. But we are cruising right in the middle of college football season.  I am a rabid Dawgs fan and hate missing a game. ( rabid, dawgs, see what I did there?) I'm hoping to see one.

If you are not a football enthousiaste, make sure you don't cruise during the Super Bowl Week.  It takes over the entire cruise.  Every things ties into it.  Even the theater isn't available as much so the game can be viewed and discussed.  

 

Now if you are into football, go for it!

I have cruised during Super Bowl week before on Carnival. The only day that was really different was the day of the Super Bowl when the game was shown on every TV on the ship to include the Lido deck and forward theater. Every other day of the cruise was like any other cruise day, depending on if it was a sea or port day.

We were on the Sunrise out of NY, in San Juan for the Birds opener.

They had the NFL ticket.

 

Got to the bar at 11:30 Am had center front row, it got packed quick.

$20.00 tip and he had drinks flowing and game right in front of me.

 

Worst case I had the App downloaded to stream to the Laptop. I wasn't missing a game.

Stefan was the man.

My other back besides streaming the app up was I found a bar in Old San Juan that was going to watch it.. but would cut it close to get back on the ship at 4:30.

Breeze does not have a Skybox. That is the best place to watch the game, when they don't have it on in Lido. Also on the Valor last week, and they had the Saints game on.

Breeze has a bunch of TVs at the casino bar, which are great for watching football IF you can tolerate the smoke.

We were on Liberty this past weekend. The sports bar on Liberty can only show 4 different games at a time for some reason (bartender said it was the way the sports bar was wired). 
 

The early game in London (Bucs - Panthers) was not available. 
 

They showed the following1 PM games:

1. Eagles - Vikings

2. Chiefs - Texans 

3. Jaguars - Saints

4. Redskins - Dolphins

 

The late games were all available (only 4 games) as well as the night game (Steelers - Chargers).

wow that’s great if they’re showing a bunch of games. When I was on the Dream last December they only showed two early games and one late game. We were in port so I could use my redzone as well.
