We pulled into port at 10am today. At 9:30am the buffet was straight out of Lord of the Flies. There was a moment that I thought 2 people were going to come to blows over who got to a table first.

that said we didn’t have much of an issue finding a table, and while the buffet was very busy it flows well and was easy to get what you wanted.

for those with allergy issues they deep fry their hash browns in the same fryer as everything else. Even though they are gluten (dairy and egg) free if you need to worry about cross contamination you need to speak with someone and they will make you fresh ones with the fryer from the Trident grill. This couldn’t have been simpler and it only took a few minutes.

Our HW, Jose, has just been wonderful. When we walked into the buffet he saw DW, chased her down and made sure she had everything she needed (that’s how we found out about the hash browns).

things in the buffet quieted down by 10 when we left.

Thanks again for all your posts.  I’ve asked in the general forum but since you are on the ship we board Sunday, would you happen to know if non alcoholic beer is served?  We may take our chances and try to bring some on for my DH (is it really “beer”?) but in case we cannot take it on, would be nice to know if he can still order some.

Some people just don't deserve to be on Vacation..lol The only thing I would do if limited tables is to share or give it up! I am not a push over just a decent person! Certainly not going to  cause strife over it on Vacation! I am glad your wife is having a good expierience!

I know right!?  There was really plenty of space you either had to share a table of 6 with 4 people or just walk around a bit. Good grief!

After breakfast and the “show” lol, we headed to shore to do some walking around. We docked south of downtown (in November on Celebrity we Docked on the north side).

this dock has a lot more shops and places to walk around right off the ship. I think the drive to downtown is about the same either way.

we wandered through some shops and DW found a Marlago necklace she really liked so we picked it up. Sent a couple of hours wandering in and out of places. The weather was beautiful with partly cloudy skies and a breeze.

We were also in port with a Norwegian ship parked right next to us. They offered Citrus, cucumber and Regular water before going back aboard.

I was looking through my previous photos of our visits to St Thomas and noticed something interesting. As we get older we appear in less and less of our pictures lol. When we were on our honeymoon cruise we had so many pictures of us. Now, maybe 1. I just found it a funny change in our behavior.

Wave to our friendly neighbors!

He loves it (maybe not for $5.50!). We will try to bring a six pack of NA beer on board and take the risk. He wouldn’t have more than that anyway in a week (in case he has to drive the ship 🤣) I have PBP so I’m all set and will not be driving 😜Thank you!!

How about something other than food pictures. No Princess Cays-? some venue pictures would be helpful? How about pictures if you go to St Thomas and St Maartin? Dining places, Bars, night club photos, all on the ship. Many people would like to see ship photos and land photos to give them idea of what to expect. Also, patter is hard to read and not very clear on the posts.

Wow! I appreciate what anyone does on their cruise as far as reporting live on CC.

We board the Regal 4 Sundays from today....   We are NOT huge Steeler fans...  HAHA !!!!

We board the Regal in about six weeks and we are not Steelers fans. I'm enjoying this thread, though. 🙂 What is a "King's Cruise Lottery" listed several times in the Patter?

Enjoying your posts - we board Sunday for btb cruises.  We too have early seating, but we've never had it this early on other cruises.  Are there a lot of people who eat at 5:15 on this ship?

Here is tonight’s dinner menu. It wasn’t until tonight that I realized that the burger on the every night menu actually changes.

DW had ordered a salad and the chicken from the every day menu.

I got a shrimp cocktail, the seafood appetizer, and the spare ribs.

I have heard grand tales of the Ernesto burger. Everyone seems to have a differing opinion on it. So I decided I would give it the old college try tonight. I have to admit it was rather good. Better than any other burger I’ve had on Princess (not quite as good as Carnivals Guys Burgers though). I did have to take off the jalapeño. That thing was hot as hell.

Here is the dessert menu.

I got the Napoleon which was very good. It was nice because it wasn’t overly sweet. DW had the chef special. Chocolate cake.

DW hasn’t had chocolate cake since she found out about her allergies. She said tho cake was so good she ordered a second one, which for her is unusual so that should tell you how good it was. She also got the red currant sorbet which she was was great as well.

honestly no. The dining room we are in may be half empty on most nights. But 8pm is just too late for us and in addition to DWs allergies making things a little more complicated we always enjoyed having the same wait staff every night.

After dinner we headed to the show, Troy Thirdgill was performing again and we really wanted to see him.

On the way there they had brought in a variety of birds to the piazza.

Oh wow, does princess do this regularly?  Those are real birds, right? (Sorry for my ignorance!). That’s awesome.
