Door Decorations

I'm looking for ideas for my cabin door,does Royal have any restriction on what I can use ?

Also if you have any ideas it would help

We don't usually do door decorations, but we're taking my MIL on her first cruise in a couple weeks. I ordered this. We also got matching shirts for embarkation day.

Currently in the Harmony of the seas. This is my door. They are magnets.

Our kids gave us this sign when we took a cruise to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. It fit perfectly on our cabin door.

I bought cool tropical stickers, and adhesive magnetic backing, to make my own 🙂

They usually frown upon the use of tape as it leaves a residue on the doors.    Command Strips and Magnets for me !

We had adjacent cabins and were lucky enough to have a blank wall in between. As an added bonus, the girls across the hall rearranged the wall every day. Everything is a magnet or hanging on magnet hooks. The other door was somewhere else on the ship. We pick up most of our decorations at dollar stores here and there or other places we can get inexpensive items.

I'm visually impaired.  I use a bright neon magnet on our cabin door.

Easier for me to identify our cabin.

We inform our cabin steward. Once in a while we've had our magnet "disappear".

Cabin steward tells us to place it a bit higher so kids won't take it. 

No worries, we bring a few with us.

For Halloween last year we took clip magnets to hang door decor. Worked pretty well IMHO.

where did you get the matching shirts from?  We are looking to do cheap ones for our wedding in April on Indy.

@thjeepster I ordered the shirts from Rush Order Tees dot com. Here is what they look like. My MIL's shirt also has I'm Mimi on the back.

I'm thinking about doing something for our wedding group for shirts....I think it will be nice to wear going on the ship!

That's my plan - get our embarkation picture made in them, and then we'll all probably change for dinner. 🤣

I think that's awful that people would take your magnet!  We plan to put something on our door so we can spot our cabin easily.  Good idea about placing it higher!
