It is interesting Lanky Lad... my husband and I read over many comments and posts on Cruise Critic and other sites before our first Cunard Voyage this past August... and one thing we remembered reading was your enjoyment of the cloudy lemonade on board... so my husband tried it and also thoroughly enjoyed the cloudy lemonade.

So

What did he say when we booked our second??? He said he could not wait for the cloudy lemonade!!!

Ha!

For me some favorite small pleasures would be sipping a “Mary Rose” from the Gin & Fizz lounge... walking on the beautiful promenade deck... and feeling the ship’s movement when we sleep (we choose forward because we love the movement)

Have not been on Cunard yet but our first is in May this year....so I have to ask,  What on earth is cloudy lemonade?

Sometimes called "old fashioned" - made with lemon juice which does some reaction to make the soda not clear. Sometimes not carbonated either - not sure how Cunard does it.

Well, thanks, Lissie!  I guess I will have to try it!

It’s the complimentary lemonade they serve in the buffet... Lanky Lad spoke of it last year on here... so my husband had to try it, and he loved it too!

I know I'm going to catch some flack for this but...

popping the cork on the Pol Acker

If we could find it in the States, we'd enjoy a bottle every day the QM2 departs SH for NYC

I believe that it's now available in the States.

Try Home Depot, in the aisle listed under "paint stripper".

Your first sunset "Green Flash". [So far its the only one]

My picture was sunrise, which I doubt is ever accompanied by a Green Flash.

Best spot I know of for seeing the Green Flash is on Captiva Island - looking west towards Mexico (having a drink in hand seems somehow to help).

British back bacon.
Afternoon tea.
Spa therapy pool.
Afternoon classical concert.
Jazz trio every evening.
String quartet.
Harpist.
Stargazing up at the heavens on a peaceful, dark night.
Room service, gratis.
Getting out of the penguin suit.
Ploughing through not-too-rough seas, with waves crashing over the bow.
Waking up to the hissing sound of waves breaking against the hull.
Dolphins playing around the ship.
