Is Crown Princess missing ports?

I know the Crown has propulsion problems but is it just late to the ports or are you missing ports altogether?  Any word on when it might be fixed?  Thanks for any information.

My understanding is ports have been missed because of weather. The generator issue is supposed to be fixed by the Feb 15 th cruise

It appears that this week's cruise made it's planned (albeit rescheduled) stops and the 3 missed ports from last week was indeed a weather issue, which combined with the generator issue made for a huge mess.

 

I'm on the Feb. 26 sailing so I've been watching closely - according to the ***** it just left Aruba at 5pm as scheduled today. 🙂

 

And to second what ToyFoxFan said, it is apparently supposed to be sorted by the Feb. 15th sailing.

We were informed that our Feb 5 cruise will be skipping Grenada (sea day instead), with a longer port time in Bonaire and one hour shorter in St Thomas. Our sailing is doing the "reverse route," first port is Curacao.

We are on the January 26 cruise and have been notified that a few of the ports have had their arrival and departure times modified by about an hour or so.  Not a significant change.

Thanks for all the input.  As far as being fixed by Feb. 15th, how can anyone be so sure?  Past practice has not told me that deadlines are  always met.  I guess it's just a matter of wait and see.  Thanks again.

Someone on our roll call (2/15/20) just noticed that the itinerary for our cruise has changed in the cruise personalizer.

We are no longer stopping at Princess Cays, and arrival/departure times at the other ports have minor adjustments.

I expect that we'll all get emails from Princess in the very near future.

I was on the 1/16 cruise.  We skipped Princess Cays.  It was not due to weather.  The itinerary changed a couple of days before we left.  Other ports had minor changes like getting in an hour later and leaving an hour later.

Yes, our friends board the CROWN on 2/15 for B2B2B.  They have itinerary changes for at least the 15th so far.  Skip P Cay and some time adjustments elsewhere.  Looks like no fix soon.

The last I heard was a date of 2-15 to be fixed but that doesn't appear to be true.  So I guess my thoughts of not believing in deadlines proved to be right yet again.

As you know, we will be on board with you for your last 10 day leg.....what are the changes for that leg? We will be on for a total of 30 days, and have been expecting to see some changes, but we have not heard anything yet.

I have a TA coming up March 26.  That should be very interesting as far as timing in ports, etc.

Bad news from Barbados..involving Crown Princess.

She was docked here, Friday 31st. January -

 

Poor guy collapsed as he was about to start an island tour

and expired later in the local hospital!
