Our first cruise and would like to know for free beverages, like water, iced tea, etc.  where do you get these if you just want to fill a water bottle and lounge on the deck?

WJ or Park Cafe - water at any bar.

You can fill your bottle in your cabin at night, from the sink, stick it in the fridge and it will be nice and cold.  Or, if it's wide-mouth, put some ice in it.

You can also get ice water at ANY eating venue or BAR...just ask.  You won't really need to carry your bottle around with you, as they will give you ice water on demand!

Coffee and tea (iced or hot) is available in ANY eating venue.  Bars typically don't have either.

Grandeur does not have refrigerators in the cabins. :( Best to get water from the Windjammer

the windjammer and park cafe have self serve dispensers all day long.   juice from concentrate ( orange apple and maybe cranberry ) in the morning and iced tea, lemonade and at least one flavored water the rest of the day.   fill your own  bottles by using one of their cups and pouring from that.   do not stick your bottle in the dispenser.  also   plain coffee, with  hot water for tea and hot cocoa.

You can make your own "custom" iced tea by brewing any desired double-strength tea in a glass and then adding ice. I do this  quite a bit since I drink decaf tea. You can also make iced coffee in a similar way, though it won't be as strong using ordinary brewed coffee. But they have milk and cream readily available at the abovementioned venues, so you can make it as rich as you like. In fact, if you wanted to add some of the soft-serve, you could make a sort of coffee frappe.

Grandeur has refrigerators in balcony and above cabins.  None in inside or window rooms.

I'm just off the Grandeur, and for the first time I will say:

Don't drink the water from your cabin's bathroom sink.

It does NOT taste good.  Must be something in the pipes, because we all know that it's the same water all over the ship.

That depends on the level of cabin. 🙂
