Over the last 15 years I bought two ink jet printers but found I only used now and again and

found the ink cartridges would dry up and found that I almost spent as much replacing the

ink cartridges as what the printer was worth . I was advised by a workmate to buy a laser

printer which for documents is ideal ,no wet inks to smudge or run ,or dry out .

This is the best printer I have owned for my needs ,no more running to the ink shop and I bought the monochrome which cost me about £30  more but has proved very reliable .

Thanks Kalos, I shall look into it.

You need to have a space between each picture ,that's all I did to your post .

Go back to your post and try it yourself .that's all I did .

Thanks for trying Kalos but I'm useless with tech when it doesn't do what I expect it to.  Clicking on the three dots top right doesn't give me an edit option. Clicking on a photo just opens it in a new window and right clicking on it doesn't allow me to do anything I understand 😂. I've run out of ideas now, sorry... 🥴

Now I know you lot will think I should find something more worthwhile to do with my time, but I'm asking the question anyway.

What day of the week is missing??? I've tried every combination and can't  for the life of me  figure it out. 🤬Grrr

Avril

There are no missing days!

Tuesday is allowed

on Tuesday Wednesday is allowed because it is Tomorrow

Thursday is allowed

Friday is allowed cos is Tomorrow on Thursday

Thaturday and Thunday are allowed

Monday is Tomorrow on Thunday

Back to Tuesday

Or am I over analysing this 😵

I thought Belgium lifted this on March 11th.

When we were on Iona we had to fill a Portugal PLF to get into Lisbon but no one asked to see it when we got on and off the ship.

The Portuguese probably recognised Pauline and thought ' that old bloke with her must be her bodyguard '.🤣

Ooh  we haven’t checked Argos yet. Thankyou.

Sounds silly but check the price of the ink.Over the years we have found it cheaper to buy a new printer with ink than buy a new cartridge which is dearer than both, lol.

Just noticed Kalos beat me to it with similar advice.

Was a lovely, sunny morning albeit quite cool. I'm very much a fair-weather walker so took the opportunity of going for a nice walk of about 3.5 miles across the fields around what is locally known as Forster Country. Nothing like a good bracing walk to lift the spirits. Nothing much else exciting happening today. Decorator back in tomorrow to hopefully finish off the work, which will only leave the new vinyl to be fitted in my en-suite on Thursday.

Here's a few photos from my walk this morning. Apologies that the ones I took vertically have loaded on their side - I can't see a way to change them...

The internet shop where I buy our printer ink is £13 for a full set of 5 inks. We have used them for years and not had a problem and now they are Which magazine recommended. You just have to ignore the software telling you that the inks are not from the original manufacturer.

It is a pain nowadays though having to fill things in on line and print out before travel. It was nice in the past as the holiday approached the tickets and luggage tags arrived by post and that was that!

I rarely use my laptop or printer now as I screenshot documents.

My TA printed all my documents for me including baggage labels for our recent Iona cruise.

It is 6°C and cloudy now after overnight rain.

I get our ink in Tesco who have a large range. But even different models of the same make have hugely different priced inks. The way to go is downloads and qr codes nowdays, but I am a belt and braces bloke lol ,cheers,Brian

So is there any real need to print anything off apart from luggage labels, is everything else OK to be screenshot? This would make things so much easier 😀

I don't think my TA prints anything for you, it is the well known one but if anyone can clarify that would be great!

I have screenshots of everything and never had any problems.

My TA said they will happily print everything for me because that's why they are here.

The TAs have access to  E-tickets luggage labels before me so I have asked them to print them in future for me.

Do P&O still send the booklet out with luggage labels in it if you haven't opted to go green? It is such a long time since I cruised with them, can anyone advise please.

I have never seen that for years.

We have had 3 P&O cruises since August 2021 and left to print our own documents.

It's not nice again down here, dull, damp, misty and windy and feeling decidedly chilly.

Change of plans for me today I was going to go into Penzance and run some errands, but am looking after my granddaughter instead as she isn't well.

Hope everyone on here that is poorly is well on the road to recovery.

My old TA used to do everything for us, then we had the labels from P&O and bingo that was that. Now we have booked with the big cruise specialist and I am pretty sure they don't print anything and send it through the post, will ask if it is possible nearer the time if not screenshot it will be 😀

I used to love receiving the tours brochure and luggage labels. Happy Days, but I suppose it is now not very environmentally friendly.

I remember in 2012 there was an uproar when they tried to not send out tours brochure for a world cruise. Trying to view all those tours online in those days was a nightmare (and I suppose not hugely better now).

Years ago I booked a weekend away for us to France , when the tickets came with the

luggage labels they were in a nice see through zipper wallet that you could put your passports

and other bits in .Very handy and I still use it to this day .Sadly you get nothing like these days

and that was off a ferry company not a cruise line .:classic_mellow:

Morning everyone, hope you are all ok this morning and those who have been ill are recovering well.

It is a dull and breezy day here. I am going into Lytham soon for birthday cards and Easter eggs. The grandchildren like those from Thornton’s with their name on.

We have been to the O2 this weekend, an absolutely amazing show. We stayed next door at the Intercontinental, there is a corridor linking the hotel and the O2, however when we got there it was closed due to damage to the roof of the O2. We had a fifteen minute walk outside instead  to get in, thankfully it wasn’t raining. A small inconvenience to see a great show.

Have a good day everyone

Michelle
