I don't think it is greedy to want to make as much as you can.  If the owners are willing to pay then why not take the money.

Not everyone is interested in making the most money possible.Retired baseball player Turk Wendell said in a recent interview that he cannot fathom athletes making the salaries that they are paid.In my opinion the highest salaries should be paid to Police Officers,Firefighters,Nurses and School Teachers.

Saltburn, the movie.  I succumbed to the hype.  Certain Images are now seared into my brain. if you haven’t watched it, consider yourself warned.

I am currently watching Obliterated on Netflix .One season ,8 episodes. It is a raunchy comedy /action movie that should be rated somewhere between R and X.

I don't look at it as them being greedy.  It's more like their business managers promoting and having them do more to make more.

It is more likely a greedy manager.

I was surprised to learn that half-time stars do not get paid for their performances.  They view it as free marketing for the "stars" to perform.

Correct ,however, the athlete does not have to go along with the Manager.

It is comparable to entertainers.Springsteen wears jeans and and to see him in concert you have to pay as high as $572 in some venues.

Graham Nash appears in concerts at venues where the highest admission price is $35.00.

So far about 10 inches of snow has fallen with another 3 hours to go.

Its coming down fast & furious.  Plow went by about 20 minutes ago & the road is completely covered.  Look closely and you may see a hint of blacktop.

Very Pretty, looks like heavy snow too. What are temps for the following days, wondering if the snow will stick around or melt pretty fast.

Nothing here in Virginia at all, beautiful bright sunny day about 45 degrees.

The salaries you want to be the highest are paid from taxes (our pockets).  The salaries you think should not be as high are paid from the company (their pockets).  There is a difference!

@Sea Dog, wishing the best for you for tomorrow’s surgery.  DH had a bilateral hernia surgery in September 2020.  It was done laparoscopically.  He was to limit any exercises for 6 weeks.  He went back to work a week after the surgery.  So recovery is pretty fast.  He says if you have any questions, you can email him.  He’d be happy to talk to you.

Naturally, I am behind and still not getting notifications, so I will try to scroll back to catch up.

In case no one has said it, happy Mardi Gras.   I am ready with my beads and Voodoo doll.  Who else has a voodoo doll but me?

I always enjoy watching the antics on Bourbon Street, especially later at night.  Here is a live stream link if anyone is interested.

Did it start snowing there?    I attempted to get to work.  Roads got bad quick around me.  I got stuck ontop of buckingham mountain and ended up sliding down the hill and hit a street sign pole and mailbox.   My passenger side mirror now hanging off.

Made it home slowly.  Will check out damage when it stops snowing.  Tomorrow I'll stop by the mailbox house.   From what I saw my car got the worst of it.  Their box was still standing.

Be safe! 🥰

Thank you Helen. My knee surgeon said it was ok to continue my knee rehabilitation. The one thing I do need to be careful about is my breathing. Some of the exercises I do I sometimes hold my breath. My therapist says that’s a no no. I need to breathe and not put any pressure on the groin area.

Snowy day here on Eastern LI.

Schools are closed. The plow just went up and down the street.

Our local pharmacy called about a delivery that was scheduled for today but has been cancelled. Will deliver tomorrow. Totally understand.

But, Amazon just made a delivery.

Totally unnecessary given the snow in the driveway and front walk. I feel sorry for the Amazon drivers being sent out in these conditions.

Hoping everyone experiencing the storm is safe and warm. Wishing everyone a good day.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes before surgery tomorrow. I’m ready to get this hernia repaired as I have been uncomfortable for the last 4 months. I’m glad it’s going to be done laparoscopy with a faster recovery time. My only concern is that I hope I will not sneeze for several days. I remember after my first hernia and sneezing. Boy did that hurt!

After Jim's open heart surgery years ago, they gave him heart-shaped pillow to hold whenever he had to sneeze.  Perhaps you can keep a pillow handy for the same purpose.  I don't know if they have a hernia-shaped pillow (jk) to give you, Greg!  I'm sure any sofa pillow will work.

By this time tomorrow, it will all be over for you, and you will hopefully be back home.  Good luck, Greg.  You've got this!!!!!🥰

Love to Linda!

Thank you Maryann. I will look into that. Sneezing is not fun.

I am glad the forecast changed for our area.  Now it looks like we will miss most of the snow.  Just a few flurries coming down from Lake Erie.  I will enjoy the snow, just by looking at those pictures east of us.

oh, that s**ks.  That is the kind of day the tow trucks and repair shops live for.  Good you made it home without further incident.

Oh no, Debbie!  How are you, besides being all shook up from your accident this morning.  Very frightening when these things happen.  I do hope you are alright, my friend!🌹

I don’t recall who recommended the movie, The Bee Keeper.  We had a private screening on Sunday at the movie theatre.  We were the only ones in the theatre after church, during normal lunch hour.  We both liked the movie.

This stuff is really wet, heavy, and hard to move, too.

Found the S24 for $689 which includes tax unlocked brand new.

That is a very good price. Don't expect pricing to drop much as the year goes on. After I bought my S22 shortly after it came out I kept monitoring pricing just to see if I got ripped off. What I found was the price holding steady throughout the year.

I'm okay.   Besides the broken / hanging side mirror assembly.  I do have scratches down the whole the side.   Probably from street side pole.   Cars can be fixed.   I'm just glad I didn't hit anyone else.

I'm hoping i didnt mess up the mailbox.  I will leave them a note tomorrow when I pass by On way to work.

On my way home there were cars stuck in various places.   I was so happy when I pulled in my driveway.

Eric was oblivious to the snow.  He was still in bed when I got home.   Living retired life to the fullest🤣

It has stopped snowing.   We just finished shoveling our driveway and neighbors.

To all shovelers it's a wet heavy snow, Be Careful.
