Do you ever put egg noodles on your mashed potatoes? I do for Thanksgiving and it's a wonderful.

I have had the two mixed before and loved it.  I am glad you mentioned it.  I have forgotten how much I enjoyed it.  I need to make this again.

You are right Old Barney is a much easier walk.  I have not yet walked up California lighthouse in Aruba not sure I will after hearing no handrails.  Maybe when I was younger.

The last lighthouse we did was Gibbs Hill in Bermuda and that has decent steps with a handrail.

I have always loved visiting lighthouses whereever we visit.

When we visited the lighthouse at the lake I thought I would be nice and watch the babies while everyone else climbed the steps.  😊

I was disappointed that the Jeopardy champ was dethroned last night.

We knew it would eventually happen, but were sad to see Matt go.
Hopefully we’ll see him do well in the Tournament of Champions

It sounds like Jim is on the right road to recovery.  Hopefully, each day is a bit better than the day before.  I'm sure the surgeon will be pleased with his progress.

I remember having to nap after my femur bone repair PT sessions.  Total exhaustion and I had 2 daily sessions.   Oh those steps were killers. I'm sure Jim's sessions are more intense. Way to go Jim!

Thanks again, Bonnie!  He really is so tired, but not really sleeping that great.

I do take a over the counter medication called instaflex it has really helped , I question if it was really bone on bone but that what the knee specialist said, when I asked a Nurse about instaflex she said it contains some of the same medication used for knee injections, I saw a tv commercial for it years ago with Doug Flutie 😁

George, Jim tried the knee injections, but they never gave him the relief that it gives some people.  His knees were just in really bad shape.  Especially his right one.  So, did you not have the surgery?

Hopefully he will get a great report from the surgeon.

Thank you, Lenny.  How is Toby feeling?  What about Mallory?

Excellent, did they get one of those balcony cabins Dani mentioned yesterday?

@DaniDanielle

They were gone in a flash, I assume one of them went to Marietta's friends.

I'm monitoring just for fun -- every few hours a balcony appears, only to disappear quite quickly.

Now, again, there are two - 1D and 1C.

1C is with large balcony, and I get the reply "the number of guests doesn't correspond to this cabin" [my default is at 2 adults].

I've tried to change it to 2 adults and 2 kids under 12, same reply.... weird.

The injections didn’t help me either but the instaflex pills did. I would recommend anyone try that before surgery.

I never have to wear a Brooklyn tshirt.  People automatically ask me where in NY I'm from the minute I start to talk....err tawk.

I forgot to specify one important element.  Those chocolate ices were Italian ices.  So refreshingly good.

We certainly can't get away with our NY accents, although I don't think my accent is that strong.  Our dear friends from Massachusetts/Naples  are the winners when it comes to accents!  Love it!  Chocolate Italian ices are soooo good!

Come to think of it now. I think this did come from Indiana and started off as a chicken and noodles thing over mashed. Yes we only do it for Thanksgiving to make it special. It's not Keto friendly but oh so good.

Greg, the noodles/mashed potatoes/gravy sounds devine.  I hope the injection will help with your knees so you can enjoy your cruise to the fullest!

Spent some time on the beach yesterday, water back to clear and beautiful after 5 days of rain and storms made a mess of the water clarity.

Good to hear the beach is back to being clear for you and Bucky.  I would love to eat as much fish as you two do!

Jim just asked, "Where were you when I needed you, George?"  LOL

Where do you find these pills?

Good Morning from Charlotte Amalie St Thomas.

We are planning to go to Coki Beach.  Jim good luck with the new knee....you are going to outwalk Maryann now. Sorry if I forgot to mention anybody else who needed some extra hugs.

Jim said "I sincerely doubt that"  LOL.

Have a great day in St. Thomas.  We have many wonderful memories (honeymoon & cruises) of the Island.  We've never been to Coki Beach.  Will have to try it the next time we're there.

Enjoy your cruise!

Remember the female NASA employee who drove to Florida with rope and duct tape to get rid of “the other woman”?

She wore adult diapers so she wouldn’t have to stop.

I remember that and I wonder if she got diaper rash. 😳 She was a wacko.

2 seas days in a row sounds so good right now.     We love Aruba and Curacao.     Any plans for either of these islands?

Not really. I’m just going to go and walk around. I would rather wait for Mike to go on any tours, but who knows if I change my mind at the last minute. 😁

They finally snagged one on Deck 9.  They called C&A to do it.  We both were checking on and off yesterday.  I would get certain decks and he would get others, then they would say sold out!  Finally I told him to call.

Agree.  He had a great personality.  When he lost Sharon said, one more, referring to our mishaps this week.  Btw, we noticed at the hotel we were on floor “14".. They did not have a 13th floor so really, what floor was it.
