Mrdodgy Posted April 9, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2020 And so it starts - this is all to do with the losses. Not really worried as we get two meals as Plat plus (all family) and then 2 meals makes 4 and the rest of the time main restaurant
Two Wheels Only Posted April 9, 2020 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Shouldn't it be "meals" instead of "nights"?
Love my butler Posted April 9, 2020 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Like anyone would actually pay those ridiculous menu prices in the restaurants. Overpriced Arby's at best. 1

You would get what was in place when you booked. On the plus side (?), bookings after April 15th might have a smaller promo service charge. 🥴 3

Rare All-ready2cruise Posted April 9, 2020 #10 Share Posted April 9, 2020 In the past, your FAS promos are grandfathered in. So, you maintain what you already have on your invoice. Having said that... nothing would surprise me.
hallux Posted April 9, 2020 #11 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Considering the wording on the notice indicates which offer is for which booking dates... The first post actually indicates "Bookings made before April 14, 2020" and "Bookings made after April 15, 2020"...
Rare PATRLR Posted April 9, 2020 #12 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Glad to see this crisis hasn't affected their sense of nickle and diming. It's all about the on board spend. 2

oteixeira Posted April 9, 2020 #18 Share Posted April 9, 2020 So does this also mean that they will be cutting the 7 day cruise tax/tip for that perk by 33%? I sometimes wonder how much the restaurants are used without the UDP, I wish we could see the numbers. If they keep lowering the perk I suspect it will be really easy to get a reservation at one of the many specialty restaurants on the ships. (https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/dining-packages) 2sdp is more per meal. how much more? i dont know. but you'll be paying more tip per meal with 2sdp. btw- back in Aug 2018, 3sdp was only $69! (https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=2859) almost 50% increase in 2 years! 😞

backsbanny Posted April 10, 2020 #25 Share Posted April 10, 2020 I have checked prices for 2021 and they are insanely high.I have already booked 2 celebrity cruise which came way lower including beverage package free internet and obc.I can not believe that celebrity is cheaper because they actually have a better product than NCL especially in regards to dining.Even checking prices for this year october, i booked symphony of the seas balcony which was way lower than an inside on the Joy[emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]Sent from my iPhone using Forums
