Not many people there tonight. 😎 Us hope so too . We usually go in the morning but we're waiting for a little cooler weather before we go . Orangefan Posted April 21, 2020 #79 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Scubacruiserx2 How was your Ultimate Dinner on the balcony last night ? Any pictures ? I follow my regular routine even when I am on my cruises. I was up early ( 6am) and went to the gym. You can't get on the treadmills at that time but the rowing machines were empty so I went there first. Luckily it is the same one I have at the gym I go to at home. Then after the treadmill and a few weight machines, I went to the I.C. to get my coffee to bring upstairs to have with my bagel for breakfast. I look away from the pastries when I walk by. Then it is a race back to the stateroom to use the bathroom and race up to the sports deck for zumba. I will check back around lunch time to find out what everybody has done already. Sali Dinner was great . We didn't time it with the sunset as we normally eat before 7: 50 . We did have empty deck on our walk after dinner to watch the fountains .

LoriPhil Posted April 21, 2020 #85 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Crab quiche - I may need to place an order for 2 and just skip the entree. We need calm seas before balcony dining though - didn’t bring nearly enough Bonine if we’re rocking & rolling. 😱

DW has a generic Bonine if you need it . She got it from the big smile mail order company in a bottle of 100 . It was the same price as the Bonine which only gives you 16 tablets . Loucat Posted April 21, 2020 #89 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Love your thread! Thank you for creating an opportunity for us to remember so many wonderful things about Regal. We sailed on Regal for Christmas 2019 in a suite on the Riviera deck across from the Concierge Lounge. Love your pics-it feels like we are right there sailing with you. Loved your sail away video. The balcony dinner looked fabulous. Will look forward to your upcoming posts!🙂

Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted April 21, 2020 Author #92 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Also from that cruise the Champagne waterfall was flowing . The normally golden - hued Piazza was bathed in a Barney shade of purple I secretly wondered what it was like to be a professional photographer and so I wandered down to his vantage point . while he plied his trade I dared not to use a flash like him but I love the expression in this ladies face ! 🙂
bstrauss3 Posted April 21, 2020 #93 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Very nice massage this AM... had to get up a little early, but I feel GREAT. Now for a nap. Way better than 5 telcons IRL
Orangefan Posted April 21, 2020 #94 Share Posted April 21, 2020 The Ultimate Balcony Dinner looked wonderful. The desserts caught my eye. Just think if I were back home I would have experienced rain/snow and temps in the 30's. And the forecast for tomorrow is snow and in the 20's in the am and that will stick for little while. I am glad I am on the Regal. Sali

Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted April 22, 2020 Author #98 Share Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) The Crab Shack experience The popcorn shrimp must have been a misprint on the menu because they were huge and delicious ! Growing up in the South I've eaten a lot of hush puppies , but these were the best . The addition of cheese to the usually dry cornbread was genius ! And so the first round of food knocked it out of the park ! The soup was good , but paled in comparison . And now , here is where the fun really begins . We had both ordered the King Crab legs and they require some surgical dissection . It's hard to tell just how much food is in the bowl and so I had Pat hold a claw , and as you can see , she really had a handful ! We stuffed ourselves with the rich crab and butter and didn't come close to finishing what was in the bowl . We didn't even want to look at dessert , as we were so full that we couldn't eat another bite . But for those who would like to see what dessert looks like , here's a photo from the CB . To summarize our dining experience at the Crab Shack : It was a delicious and full filling experience ! Orangefan Posted April 22, 2020 #99 Share Posted April 22, 2020 Good Morning, I don't need to ask you if you had a good dinner last night. It looked like an excellent dinner ! That was one giant claw ! I am glad that I am on this cruise in the warm weather. At home in Syracuse we had giant snowflakes and 3 inches of snow on the ground but not much by our standards. The temperature is in the 20's ! We should be in the 60's this time of the year. I guess the school children will take a break from their online classes to play in the snow. Well, I am off to the gym , then go to the piazza and pick up coffee and bring it breakfast upstairs. I will check back later. Have a great morning. My morning routine is to take the camera for a walk around the ship before the IC for a cup of coffee for my sleeping Princess . Today's photos : Meridian Bay (gifts , fashion jewelry ) and Essence ( fragrance & cosmetics ) . Outside of these shops is a stairway that leads down to the casino . Next stop : Princess Art Gallery And here's a promenade deck plan with our position annotated
