I can't remember who said it but maybe.....

"this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning"

Am I the only one who was very disappointed reading that article feeling it said nothing. There were not any details or even a vague idea of what they were thinking of doing

See my post (#2).

But we are now conditioned to media 'reports' that contain nothing but meaningless platitudes and innuendo.

(AKA 'Don't let a good headline get in the way of a no-story' or 'Don't let the facts get in the way of a good headline').

Don't blame the media -- I'm sure CLIA issued it as a "news" release...

But no one forced cruisecritic to post it as a news article. They could have decided this really says NOTHING, and passed on it.

Nevertheless, they have to get busy figuring out

how we are going to board a clean ship -without bringing bugs on board.

Airlines too. Same thing.

What is our Covid Passport going to look like?

Does anyone remember

the little yellow booklet required to travel with, back in the early 1960s?
It was full of stamps certifying your inoculations against Yellow Fever!
It lived with your passport, it travelled with your passport!

Train travel too? ..Greyhound bus travel?
Will any form of human travel be exempt?

Will masks be mandatory? or you'll be refused boarding?

Our "yellow book", the International Certificate of Vaccination, is still required for proof of yellow fever vaccination for some cruises.  We've been on a cruise that denied boarding to a couple that did not have that proof (or a letter of exemption.)

We have ours in our passport case. I have no idea if anyone has ever looked at it in the last number of years.
