Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted June 11, 2020 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2020 Looks like a great addition to the Auckland waterfront. I hope it includes a supermarket and chemist as well as the high end shops, then it will be really useful for cruisers - although Countdown is easy enough to get to if you really need something. There is a Countdown Metro directly across the road from this new shopping centre. Very handy. Not sure about a pharmacy though. There is a Chemist Warehouse a short walk up Queen St though. The big Countdown, behind the Britomart car park is really good though.

NSWP Posted June 13, 2020 #10 Share Posted June 13, 2020 In the absence of cruise ships they could put a 'pop up' COSTCO in the new Auckland Terminal. Does have NZ have Costco?

Kiwi Kruzer Posted June 13, 2020 Author #12 Share Posted June 13, 2020 Here’s a link to a walkthrough video on opening day . You can also get an idea of the work going on in the street as the new rail system is installed underneath .The centre will link directly to the Britomart station which is being extended to be an integral part of the network.

Blackduck59 Posted June 14, 2020 #14 Share Posted June 14, 2020 Looks like a marvelous space, I think we are staying not far from there in January, we'll have a look (yes we all know that I know we may not be able to make the trip)😟
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted June 14, 2020 #15 Share Posted June 14, 2020 Well if your trip does go ahead it's just over the road from both cruuse terminals, in a perfect location to fill in any time between dropping off your bags and joining the boarding queue.
