If I said that we walked from the place where the second photo was taken down the center of the "Mall" (it was Sunday) the Mall is closed to vehicle traffic on Sundays.

In photographs they all seem to look the same. I thought the two pics Lyle posted was the same building I just read the wording and realised they are different buildings 😜.

Wow. We are in exalted company if you were invited in Her Majesty's back yard. Or were you on a tour of Buck House when it is open in the summer? I was going to do that on my visit to London this year. ☹️

We were on a tour, it was a special year though. For the first time ever they had the state dining room set up for a state dinner. What a display. When you finish the tour you exit into the garden and there is a gift shop and tea is served. You are able to wander the grounds. It really is quite the garden.

I recognised it from the pictures of friend that had afternoon tea with the Queen as due to her part in the Women's Institute.
