CintiPam Posted January 16, 2021 #13 Share Posted January 16, 2021 Very sorry to hear this news. Jim and Don Horner were my main factual reliable sources for all information regarding cruising on Oceania when we began cruising 12 years ago, and now both are gone, as sitraveler alluded to in post #7. We were so very fortunate to sail in the Mediterranean with Stan and Jim, including an amazing significant birthday celebration for Stan in Polo, for sure the most memorable dinner party onboard a ship I ever have attended. Jim always was so wonderfully gracious to us sailing newbies after his lifetime of cruising experiences. My condolences to Stan and family. May his memory be for a blessing.

bob brown Posted January 16, 2021 #15 Share Posted January 16, 2021 My wife Betsy, is heart-broken to hear this news...she and her former husband Don, as other's have mentioned, knew Jim very well, and shared some good times with Jim and Stan. I knew him (and Don), only thru reading their posts here on CC. We send our condolences to Stan, and to Jim's family.

CAG Posted January 19, 2021 #20 Share Posted January 19, 2021 So sorry to hear this. I remember getting lots of Big O points when I was on his team for Name that tune. He could identify songs with 2 or 3 notes only. Great guy!
