Looking Forward

We take one cruise every winter. Last year we were on the last cruise of the season, and disembarked the Koningsdam as the world shut down. Of course our cruise this season was canceled. But oh, how we are looking forward to next year and a 2 week (our first) cruise on the Nieuw Rotterdam! One year today from today, we will be enjoying Governor's Beach in Turks and Caicos.

So what about you. If you're on a cruise, one year from now, where will you be and what will you be doing? Keep the answers coming. 🙂

Not a year from today and not sure if it will happen but we’re on a November Spanish Farewell this year

But, I think (hope) that our May, 2022 cruise to Norway and U.K. will be ago.  Come April, we will be without a cruise for 2 years thanks to Covid.  Of course, all of our cruises we had booked previously had to be cancelled.

I don't think we've ever cruised in February or March, so nothing a year from now -- but we have 4 cruises booked between Sept. '21 and January '23.  Late September (Med), late November (Caribbean), July '22 (northern Europe and Arctic Circle), and January '23 South America/Antarctica.  Sure hope at least a couple of those happen!!

I’m so thankful we had 2 weeks on the Oosterdam in December 2019.  I’m going through major withdrawal!

We are booked for the Mediterranean/transatlantic cruise late this October (fingers crossed).  Also booked an even longer cruise to South Pacific for late September 2022.

One year from now:  the question for me will be should I attempt another cruise?  Mind is willing; the body, it's not cooperating.

If so, will I sail on a HAL ship?  That's another question.  My experience in January, 2020 on MSC Meraviglia in Yacht Club was pleasantly different enough that I am thinking that I need to "up grade" my cruise experiences.  Another MSC cruise is a good possibility.  (However, if it sails from the Port of Miami--maybe not.)  Seabourn is on my radar as well.

February 2022: Full Panama Canal transit, Ft. Lauderdale to San Diego.

Of course fingers still crossed that our late August 2021 Alaskan cruise out of Seattle might go and also our Caribbean December 2021 cruise with Princess.
