Do we know what group(s) / agencies are doing the work on what format(s) vaccination proof will take ? With multiple countries involved this will possibly be a significant hurdle. Jancruz Posted March 16, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted March 16, 2021 I assume (MHO) that since we have proof of our vaccinations in the USA other countries will have the same..there was no discussion of what agencies will handle it yet..I believe it s too early.. Jancruz1 Sorry I cant give you more info

Rare Noxequifans Posted March 16, 2021 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2021 (edited) Thanks for the update. We eat some meals at the Terrace cafe and I am not sure how some of the lines there will be resolved. Especially the station that prepares lobster, etc. Time will tell, I guess. There won’t be lines. Announcement was long ago. Everyone is seated and they order food from off the buffet line. Staff delivers it. No buffet lines. palakika Posted March 16, 2021 #12 Share Posted March 16, 2021 Thanks for info Jan. Was there any discussion about ATW 2022? I'm curious about what they plan to do about ports such as Myanmar. Also wonder if they'll move final payment from early July to closer to cruise. Thanks!

For the last year I've thought that would be the biggest hurdle. Cruise lines can say whatever they want but the various countries will have to sign off.

I always thought it was Oceania Connoisseur Club, OCC, but won’t quibble over the small stuff. For those unaware, it’s the recognized league of high volume, in the know, Oceania Travel Agencies. An Agency whose high volume Oceania Travel Agents you want to get to know.
Pearl64 Posted March 16, 2021 #18 Share Posted March 16, 2021 Thank you, Jan. Was there any mention of Covid tests onboard? Flights to the US require a negative test 3 days before flying back to the US. I am also assuming we will need to take ship excursions. Was this addressed? We are hoping our transpacific goes in October but many hurdles before that one sails since it includes Alaska and Canada. We all want different four walls but also want it to be safe. Again, thanks, Jan.

Rare LHT28 Posted March 16, 2021 #23 Share Posted March 16, 2021 I am sure mask/ship's tours & covid testing will depend on the World situation at the time ship's start sailing again JMO

Rare Waynetor Posted March 17, 2021 #25 Share Posted March 17, 2021 I read an article today noting the Canadian gov't is starting to consider a 'vaccine passport' such as issued for yellow fever. To be only used for travel documentation while travelling outside Canada. No detail on how it would be rolled out or if similar would be needed to come to Canada. Other countries are also considering similar. I'm hoping cruise lines can enforce something like this at least for a year.
