Oh no 😳 - Royal Carribean cancels Aus 21/22 season:

With the ongoing uncertainty about the reopening of international borders, as well as required changes to our global fleet movements as travel restrictions ease in different parts of the world, we have been reviewing our upcoming 2021/2022 summer program in Australia. Unfortunately, this review has meant we have made the decision to cancel the following sailings:
- 𝑂𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑒𝑎𝑠’ 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑆𝑦𝑑𝑛𝑒𝑦 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 27 𝑂𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑏𝑒𝑟 2021 𝑡𝑜 10 𝐴𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑙 2022 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒
- 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑎𝑑𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑒𝑎𝑠’ 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑆𝑦𝑑𝑛𝑒𝑦 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 24 𝑂𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑏𝑒𝑟 2021 𝑡𝑜 27 𝐹𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑦 2022 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒
Please note that this follows on from our previous cancellation of sailings on 7 July 2021 that included Quantum of the Seas sailing from Brisbane from October 2021 to April 2022 inclusive

Did your cruise work out cheaper than original booking? Ours did, port costs were less. We also received additional OBC and a complimentary speciality restaurant dinner.

Yes the port charges are down a bit and we do have a specialty restaurant voucher which I would not have noticed except for your post so thanks!  OBC is the same.

Our cancelled cruise has dropped off our cruise personaliser. The new/replacement cruise is slightly cheaper due to reduced port charges but they have given us less OBC, about $85 difference.

Our replacement cruise  moved from Nov 21 to Nov 22 was about $500( for 2 ) cheaper for the same cabin....

But have lost interest in it and but paper work in draw to look at mid next year...

hopefully things will look better then...... even though said that last year......

No negotiation needed Marion, just asked and it was fixed, well after a few emails it was.
