Vaccination Confirmation Email

Recommended Posts

I'm on the August 15 sailing on Allure and have received nothing about my vaccination status.  Oddly, I did get something for a cruise I have booked for February 2022.  I would call and ask about this, but sadly the RC reps are usually clueless.

You can type over the booking number to change it

As I mentioned before, I did what you said.  Unfortunately, RCCL just emailed my daughter thanking her for completing the vaccination info form and providing her with pages of rules for her upcoming sailing on the Odyssey of the Seas.  The problem with this is that it was a surprise and she had no idea about the cruise.  Thanks RCCL for wrecking the surprise. ☹️ She is a child, so I am shocked that they even had her email address and she is sharing a room with my wife, who also got the email.

What a bummer.  I filled it out for several upcoming cruises and have gotten zero emails from them thanking me for filling it out.  Sure didn't see that one coming

I never got any kind of confirmation email either.

So, if sailing out of Bayonne will everyone have to be vaccinated?  Will they accept the vaccine card as a photo on our phone, everything else seems to be ok to download to the phone.

I have my NY excelsior app with my vaccine information, also sailing out of Bayonne. I am wondering if that is acceptable or do I have to carry the original card with me.

I am not on OY (not since they cancelled our 7-17 and 7-25 cruises that were transfers from Indy).  I was on SY but we cancelled that one yesterday b/c of the protocols (no casino for us).  That's the bad news.  The good news is that we are getting all $10K of our FCC back in cash (plus the other $2K that WAS cash) !  Eases that disappointment just a little bit....

I received the health protocols email for my August 22 AOS cruise but noting was in it about asking for my vaccination status. Was that a separate email you received for that?

My guess is that the vaccination status email was for Florida cruises only.

Well, this morning I got another email from RCCL asking me to fill out the pre-cruise request for info regarding vaccination for the exact same reservation I received an email from them three days ago (the one that I already filled in for them).  Well, at least they are not forgetting me...

Not sure they are bothering to record your information - just got the second request for the same cruise that I filled out the information a week ago.

I just got the same thing this morning requesting the same info I provided to them several days ago.  I had read on Facebook that some people did not get the request for vaccination email and they were told RCCL was going to send out another batch of emails for those people who did not get it the first time.  I am guessing they just sent it out to everyone again.

I'm not familiar with the NY Excelsior app as we live in SC.   This is what I'm doing.

  • Our CDC cards are in the pouch that contains our passports -- I think this is them most important
  • We have pictures of our CDC cards on our phones
  • I have photocopies of the cards in another carry-on.

I may be a touch anal/obsessive but we've waited so long to cruise that I don't want to be denied boarding.  🤣

Would rather get the email more than once than not get it.  That being said, I've only gotten it once.  I filled it out form my husband and myself and submitted it.

Both my wife and I have the same email on record with our C&A accounts so I get two of every email about two days apart. Perhaps that’s why you got it twice.

My husband has his email on file with RCI and he got the itinerary update for our October cruise but did not get emails requisting the vaccination information or the email on the protocols.

We have two cruises booked for October and have not received the vaccination email for either of those yet. Probably too soon for those to go out.

Why are RCCL emails like Covid vaccinations?

I would rather get them twice than not at all. 🤪

I got email three days ago for vaccine status request on my Allure of the Seas on August 29th. My friends that booked the same cruise did not.  I am not sure if this has anything to do with them not getting an email yet or not but they booked through a travel company/agent and not directly through Royal Caribbean.  It may have absolutely nothing to do with it.  They also have a GTY room so I am not sure if that could be a reason either.  I feel kind of bad for the cruise lines trying to get these ships going again. I believe alot is going on we don't understand. Who would of ever thought two years ago this is the way the world would be right now.  I will be very grateful when I am back on board and sailing away

This has to be much easier for RCL than trying to call each person, which they were initially doing . Yes, they are needing the info for % of vax vs. unvax.

Why do they need to know percentage since they are not limiting the amount of unvaccinated passengers?
