Yes… the onboard credits will be in your ship board account so just charge your on board account with you Medalion

You don't actually specify you want to use OBC. The transaction is just a charge to your on board account, just like any other on board purchase, and nets against any credit balance.

At slots just select charge to my cabin account. The charge will net against any credit balance. At table games provide your medallion to the dealer/pit boss. Request the amount of chips you wish to purchase and be charged to your on board account. You will sign a paper and the dealer will provide you with the chips. The amount charged will net against any credit balance in your account.

When playing slots, do you always have to charge to your shipboard account with the medallion? Can’t you just enter cash into the machine? I would rather not use any of my OBC when playing.

I've been waiting to see if anyone else chimed in on your question.

AFAIK the slots no longer take cash. Not positive (it's been awhile 😭), but pretty sure.

Yes, the slots take cash.  They actually suck the cash right out of my purse. 😂

The last cruise I took using case is fine, just like the casinos in the US.

All the slots I have seen pre-covid took cash. Believe you still have to set up a casino account with your medallion and cash outs are made to that account. You can exchange your casino account balance for cash at the casino cashier.

Has anybody set up a casino account, use OBC, play some, cash out and take your money to use at ports?

You can charge casino play to your on board account which will net against any debit or credit balance. After playing some you can cash out and receive whatever the balance is in your casino account. You really have to play some. You can't just charge and amount to your on board account and then turn around and cash out without play.
