Yes gun cafe is no more they just replaced it with what's on every other royal class ship by princess live which is a coffee bar similar to what you get done at international cafe so those are specialty that you do pay for. You can of course order any other regular bar drink as well there.

Crooners AKA VIP gaming room which is located on Deck 6 is really kind of more of an empty room that's not a functioning room being used for anything. It's more like a high rollers casino room. Great place to hang out if you're looking for a quiet relaxing spot to read or do any work. The bar is not in use, there's no staff working in there.

No Bellinis. On Deck six you do have the good spirits bar. That's a great bar if you're looking for fun create a little cocktails where they play videos too help immerse you at the destination that compliments your drink.

No Bellini’s on Majestic?  I’m sure I saw it on the deck plan. No Crooners is bad enough, but no Bellini’s too?  Sad.

We have our 1000 days at sea coming up in few cruises. I guess time will tell if they are planning on keeping it. I’ll be sure to ask Tina when we go back on the Majestic September 5 for a B2B.

I've been told by a couple that cruise all the time that they purposely booked a 15 day cruise when they'll hit 1000 days. They wanted the perks for more than a week.

Here are pics of the space next to the casino. It contains a seating area with a piano and wall of TV's. In one corner there are two baccarat tables. The bar, called Double Down, is open in the evenings. It never seemed too crowded, so a good spot to grab a drink before heading into the casino or to watch a show.

Oh another unfortunate casualty of the pause. The log of the cruise is no more. We even asked at passenger services and were told they were discontinued. Bummer I liked to save those.

Cruise logs disappeared from some ships before the shutdown. I think Princess already had plans to reduce paper usage before it.

It’s also available to Passengers who reach a milestone of Cruise days. It starts at 750 and every 250 days after that.

My wife and I have different number of seadays (long story) so we hit milestone cruises at different times. I am not sure if Princess really knows how to handle that but so far they have given us the milestone benefits as a couple so it is not unusual for us to get extended breakfast and other gifts as we hit the milestones on different cruises. Hopefully we will get 1750 & 1500 day celebration in 2022-Certainly have the cruise booked 🙂

That’s too bad. I’ve enjoyed getting it and keep it with the photo album I put the photos we purchased for our cruises. We usually get at least 1. Sometimes it just one photo and the log

We are all tested and moved into our new cabin, with some interesting experiences dealing with the heavy doors that now close off the passenger cabin areas until 1pm or so (hint: exciting alarms sound when they are opened). Weather in Seattle is good today, and I hope it stays that way for sail away. .

Glad to see you passed your Covid test.

Did you go through Customs & Immigration on board or in the terminal?

Is there any parts of the ship off limits to B2B guests?

Thanks!

You are unfortunately correct there is absolutely no bellinis onboard the Majestic

I agree.  I was kind of surprised last night. Usually the deck stewards did most of the work.

azbirdmom, we just checked out your minisuite. OMG that balcony looks like a brochure photo!! I can see why you loved it. You must have felt you could touch the glaciers.

Forecast is SUNNY and 84 degrees! Live about 10 miles from Pier 91 as the bird flie.  I would give you tenfold odds that this will hold. Temp may vary a few degrees either way but otherwise...

Tony Draper has been on board isolating since last turnaround and will take over today.

Thanks…we’ve enjoyed cruising with him several times & maybe he’ll still be at the helm for our mid October cruise.

We think we passed. No news is good news, I guess. No immigration or customs at all. We never left the US. We were free to go to any of the normal passenger areas but had to deal with heavy doors and loud alarms.

Any pics of the casino?  Curious how thats going now..... with Masking in there,

is smoking now just outside?  (hope so) 😉

I only took two quick pics in the casino. Unfortunately, as a nonsmoker, smoking was allowed in the casino, despite the mask policy. Table games and slots on the right were 'nonsmoking'. Slots on the port side were smoking. Two nights, I think the two formal nights, the casino was smoke free.

Makes sense that there is no immigration or customs. We will probably just walk around the ship and take some pictures. Have a great cruise!

I loved the Crown Grill bar menu best. Some unique drinks not available anywhere else on board.

Thank you. I have already made two reservations for the Crown Grill and I will definitely check out your recommendation.  I have had one drink this entire pandemic so I want whatever is best when I an onboard because I won’t last long.  Princess won’t lose any money on me because I am a total lightweight.

It was fantastic. Will have to book one of those again someday. It was nice to meet you!

Just curious, is there a difference between the Marina and Lido decks for those mini in the same area but different decks?

Thanks to @azbirdmom for starting this live thread and @PescadoAmarillofor blogging about it!!

A few final thoughts on the cruise. I received roses from Princess as a goodwill gesture, in part, because my room safe wasn't working. Just another 'issue' of the pause, safe batteries were left to corrode and now many require replacement or repair. It is just hard to imagine the difficulties in restarting an entire industry, with circumstances still changing! Despite any challenges they're encountering, crew onboard the Majestic Princess were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating!!

Don't know if it's been posted already, but at the Captain's Circle party, we were told that there were 484 Platinum onboard, and over 200 Elite (sorry, I didn't write down that number). The top three passengers had 1,408 days/122 cruises, 2,023 days/135 cruises, and 2,777 days/310 cruises, the most in the entire Princess family!!

As for the Medallion app, now that I've cruised, I see it can have some benefits; however, I am not yet a fan. I think Princess was too ambitious in what they wanted to accomplish, and should have started the app with a much narrower focus, and expanded its capabilities over time.

We had the same safe issue…and then when that was fixed our keypad had to be replaced. The security person said they were having a LOT of safe issues. No roses for me though. 🥀

Totally agree about the app. Much ado about not much.

Bellinis yes, ask for cleaners I believe they are adding it on to both the enchanted and Discovery because they've heard from so many people how it's a fan favorite.
