Some more authentic Chinese restaurants will serve them.  I had them at one near the SFO airport.

Ode to Escargot

 

All I can say about Escargot 
Is that it's slimy, and my mouth says No!
The smell of garlic butter is nice
But it's not enough for me to entice!
Those little snails aren’t really yummy
They can be enjoyed in another's tummy.
I will not eat them on a ship,
I cannot eat them head to tip!
I think alive they are quite cute
But eating them, just doesn’t suit.
