Fun topic Whats your favorite onboard drink?

I am not really a drinker, but interested in trying some new drinks. There is just so many and I dont know the names of the drinks. Whats your favorite and I will look them up and see how tasty they may be, and when I go to order I won't look like a newbie ! 🙂 I like rum as my favorite but I get a rum and coke pretty much 100% of the time because thats really all I know.

No basic bar drink on any Carnival cruise ship can compare to the Alchemy Bar menu. These drinks are far beyond the basics and amazing. The best Fun drinks are from the Alchemy bar.

The bartenders at Alchemy are called Alchemists, you tell them flavors that interest you and they'll whip up a one of kind off-menu drink that just may well become your new favorite.

My go to is the Miami Vice, but on our last cruise I took a liking to the Frog Island Tea.

I'm not much of a drinker , but people seem to enjoy the "Fun Ship" I myself order "Kiss on the Lips".

Years ago, maybe my 1st cruise, I bought the drink recipe book. 

 

They are fun to make and make you wish you were onboard.

 

I always have a Fun Ship first!  Makes the cruise official.  🙂

I agree that the Alchemy Bar is the way to go - best thing Carnival has done in a long time!  Before that, Miami Vice was my go too (something you can't get made at Alchemy).

My wife loves Sex On the Beach! I hate the sand getting in certain places😎 I like Rum Runners. Carnival has one called the Cruiser. It is excellent, also Rum

1/2oz Pineapple Juice    1/4oz DeKuyper-Banana Liqueur
1/2oz Orange Juice    1/4oz coconut cream
1/2oz Lime Juice    1 1/2oz pineapple juice
1/4oz Apricot Brandy    1 1/2oz orange juice
1 splash grenadine syrup    Dash grenadine, ice.
    
SEX ON THE BEACH    

"Coco Loco" 
1 1/4 ounces vodka    1/2oz Sauza Tequila
3/4 ounce peach schnapps    1/2oz Gin
1/2 ounce creme de cassis (or Chambord)    1oz Bacardi Light Rum
2 ounces orange juice (or pineapple juice)    2 oz pineapple juice
2 ounces cranberry juice    1oz coconut cream
Garnish: orange slice & Peach slice    Garnish pineapple slice.
Garnish: maraschino cherry    
    "Caribbean Colada" 
"Agave Pineapple Tea"     2oz Bacardi Superior Rum
1/2oz Milagro Tequila    3oz fresh pineapple juice
1/2oz Gin    1/2oz coconut cream (Coco Lopez)
1/2oz Vodka    4 dash aromatic bitters (Angostura)
1/2oz Light Rum    1pinch salt.
1/2oz Pineapple Juice    
1oz Lemonade    

"HURRICANE WAVE" 
          Top with splash of soda,     1-1/2oz coconut rum

I have to have a few Fun Ship Specials.  Back in the good old days they would be standing there with trays when you boarded.  
I may do a Pina Colada with extra shot of rum but I love some of the killer ice teas Red Frog has.  After that beer and bourbon are my go to.
