Been having CC. Headaches. 
Finally able to log on 

 

Had lunch at Park Cafe. Then chilled in suite lounge until cabin ready. 
 

Currently thunder lightning and rain in background. 
 

One big companion dog on board that I have seen. 
 

Really pushing dining package, many saying already booked. 
 

I was surprised very few towels on pool loungers sunning. I bet that will change tomorrow. 
 

Booked all our shows.  Priorities include FLIGHT and  HIRO. Also able to get comedy club.
 

Cruised by WINDJAMMER to get a cookie.  No WASHY WASHY GIRL but mini Hitler at door making sure you washed your hands.  
 

Leaned on one counter. OMG. Thought I was a felon,  one worker informed me not to lean on any counters  I said. “No problem”.

We were the opposite.  Sitting on a plane in Miami waiting to get to Atlanta for an hour.

Just heard from a very reliable source that 2,004 were scheduled to sail. Still a significant amount have not checked in. 
 

Our cabin attendant is ANNA MARIE and her assistant a name I have no idea and could not repeat if my life depended on it. 
 

I asked her to write it down 

 

Our one suitcase was um inspected because it was repacked other than the way we left it. 
Did not have to go to naughty room.

We are the first sailing that the show FLIGHT has returned. 
 

Now mind you. 
 

Cabins not available till 2pm. 
Instructions to download zoom in cabin. 
 

We went to customer service, and they took our phones and got us on zoom lickity split.

 

So now it’s 11:30, and a few of the shows only had late scheduling available. Hmmmmmm

 

Side note we enjoy CK. We were there before the doors opened and booked our dinner. We got every time we requested. 
also our travel company sent a bottle of champagne and a free dinner. We selected Izumi.

Was the unlimited dinning package available for purchase onboard? It has been gone from my cruise planner for weeks and Royal said its sold out. Thank you.

They have been running around like chickens trying to sell it.

CC has been troublesome. 
 

But had a great first day. 
 

Sailaway was awesome. 
We saw the coast guard channel boat pick up the port master. Boy does that ship move. 
 

Since we are not able to fulfill our Sunday mass obligation we did the next best thing. 
 

Went to the Casino

 

DH BROKE even. 
 

And guess what, I didn’t. 
Got  to play a lot and have fun. That’s all I’ll say.

We just booked a loft suite on oasis - this will be our first time in a loft suite and looking forward to eating in coastal kitchen for the first time. If you are in it for breakfast Would you mind posting a picture of the menu?

Good morning. 
 

I cannot believe I had trouble sleeping. Do not know if all the tension and worries of final cruising got to me or what!!

 

Anyway some observations on board that I have seen with COVID. 
 

More security 

 

More mandatory hand sanitizer every where. 

Less pool chairs. 

Even though mask are to be worn in all areas you can take them down in casino. 

The drink straws have been paper it seems they last a lot less before being useless. 
Bar servers ever where. 

They do not want you to lean on any counters in WJ. But the pop machines are free reign. 
 

Booked anther cruise on board. Had great prizes bags filled with goodies. After we booked we had a choice of a little thingie to put on your phone to hold your sea pass. 

Air conditioning really working in CLS. Happy about that. 
 

Our waiter at CK was very nice. I will try to get his name later. He said his family really struggled with COVID in the Philippines. He lost his income for 18 months and is thrilled to be working. And back home there were no jobs available. 
 

The muster drill of lack there of was perfect and took all of 4 min. 

 

And finally yesterday  the captain told us that Sunday the seas are not going to be friendly. So be prepared. 
 

Ok. Getting ready for breakfast. Letting the DH pick today.

NEWS  FLASH. 
 

Due to the low cruiser count. Johnny Rockets is not serving breakfast. 
 

“go to WJ. They have same FOOD ”. Per attendant at JR.

I cannot begin to say on  this sailing how tasty the  coffee is. 
On all our other sailings it was painfully bad. 
 

And once again. You can look but do not touch anything in WJ unless it is in a plastic service cup. ( fruit). 
 

Today pool day. 
Dolphins game on big screen in aqua theater. 
 

Lunch is up in the air so far. 

Do not know where we will eat.

We did not enjoy the paper straws either.  They can have a tendency to stick and irritate your lips too.  Luckily we remembered to bring straws.

 

Just wanted to suggest if you enjoy music make sure to work in Mark Preston.  He is one from the Lettermen.  It was one of the best performances.  I am sure you will sleep better and better as the cruise sails along.  Thanks again for sharing your journey.

Today after breakfast went to pool. Wind, rain. All decks open. 
 

loungers  available. 
 

Got  2 chairs in solarium in the roofed section. 
 

then the sun came out. Moved to the beach pool got two loungers in prime real estate. 
 

Then rain. 
 

so I took a picture of me in the mirror. Me and my bathing suit. 
 

The water slides to go down we’re at least 15 kids deep. 
 

Going to lunch.
