Ladies the shampoo and body wash in suite bathrooms is great. Smells like peppermint. 
 

Now, the conditioner is BAD. I have thick hair almost shoulder length. I probably went thru 1/3 bottle just to get my hair tangled out. 
 

Word to wise. 
Bring your own.

Just noticed a couple things not provided anymore in a suite or  C & A status. That we received before. We will be D+ after this cruise. 
there jumble as to suite or C & A   

- no more treats in suite on formal night

- no more one  free picture 

-no more escorted off ship for disembark 

- no more saved seats for shows. 
- no more sending  emails to concierge for making your dinner reservations for CK or pay venues prior to sailing. 
- lol I never got the welcome letter this cruise. 
- no milk out for milk and cookies at the Cafe Promenade. They lock it up and put creamer out. I asked for milk and that’s how we found out. 

 

 

side note 

 

in the suite lounge now. 
I am ease dropping and one of the awards given out for status in C & A   A guest is  very upset. Because of social distancing the got their  award on the side of the stage. They were upset because they could not be seen well by all the invited guess (D+ and Pinns)

 

Now on the other side of me is a guest who is on a B2B. She just became pinn on this cruise and looking forward to next weeks cruise her first as Pinn. 

 

Every where go. Someone in uniform comes up and asks how are things going so far. 
I wonder if they are concerned about ratings!!!!

Sue, I've always packed my own hair conditioner for years.  The shampoo onboard is fine, I just like my own conditioner.😉

Good morning from St. Maarten. Gang way opened early, people following there leader to their tours. It is raining lightly. We have company. Do not know who are side kick is. 
 

Trying to confirm a rumor. You know when you creep in on people’s conversations you can hear things wrong. 
 

With the decrease in passengers the MDR is going to move up late seating to have everyone fed.  This way they can close early with many people eating at pay venues or CK. 
 

Today we are just hanging around  shops at port. 
 

We are hesitant about doing excursions in post COVID.

Today at breakfast they are really trying to have you book dinner at specialty restaurants. 

They even offered one couple 30% off there meal to book.  The lady went what is the normal price. The seller said $60.

 

Oh. Another I noticed. Post COVID you do not have to sign a bill for drink package.  Most of the walk around bartender servers just as for your room number. They don’t even want your sea pass. 
 

In the casino last night they had workers walking around with iPads every half hour checking occupancy. 
 

The tables were busy till about 11 pm. 
 

Elevators empty

 

Have not seen piano man yet.

I have really enjoyed all of your insightful post.  We were on Symphony 2 years ago this week and will be again in January.  I find it interesting the changes both good and bad.

BTW we are from Ohio as well!

After the rain we left to just go and walk around port. Damn it’s hot, did a little shopping. Back to ship.

Found out at lunch the crew can leave the ship when on St Thomas .  
But they have a bus they have to pay $10 round trip to a store “ the bubble”. Exclusive for RCI. They can shop and buy personal items and such. 

 

So if people are wondering the $10 gift would mean so much to them. 

 

That is all they can do for now

UPDATE ON LABADEE. 

 

The beach/resort area the cabanas as well as the dorm rooms have been over taken by locals,  due to conditions after the earthquake and civil unrest. 
 

Since RCI has no presence or security on the island. It is what it is. 
 

RCI hoping after the election that things will go back to normal and reclaim the guest/ workers area. 
The area has really been trashed. 
RCI will need to clean it up and rebuild. 
 

Will take awhile

They converted to the 3 mounted bottles. 
shampoo, conditioner and body wash. 

In our GS they had that setup but didn’t have the bottles in it.  Just individual small hotel bottle size shampoo etc.
