Might I humbly suggest you read the post I made at the bottom of page 1 of this thread.

 

The 3rd possibility is that it is neither "poor storage" nor "cheaper laminate layer" but use of the same exact film used previously that is being used much longer after manufacture than anyone ever anticipated.

 

Carnival is not always some sort of money hungry incompetent  villain.

To echo the room, no problem on Breeze in July or August, but on Vista in November I had to replace the sucker twice. No big deal, but it was def a thing.

We had no issues with our MG card in September, and our October Celebrity card was fine.  However, we had 2 November Freedom cards peel.  They replaced them at Guest Services using a copier to print the info on a peel and stick label.

Was just on the Valor last week and had the same peeling problem.  I even kept my card in a plastic zip lock lanyard and it still peeled.  In 20 cruises never had that happen before.

We had the same issue while cruising on Carnival Pride during the 2021 Thanksgiving week. My wife and I went through a total of 8 between the two of us.
