Just one reference I say a couple minutes ago but also someone posted on another thread a picture of the announcement on people boarding.  I haven't seen an update on Celebrity Website but that doesn't surprise me.

We are home and settled. I’ve had a long covid nap and have been banished/quarantined to the upstairs area.  We’re just off Race Track Rd, so not too far. 
 

We certainly need a re-do, but ours wasn’t as bad as others. 
 

We would be happy to join some other CC’s in the future.

Booked a short cruise on BEYOND..have to use up a longstanding  fcc!

 

Hope we will not need testing by then but expect we will.  We will manage with masking...but have been spoiled until the recent resurgence.

There have been actual disruptions encouraged on FB directed towards our ROLL CALLs.

We believe a ROLL CALL created on Cruise Critic should stay here. We've worked long and hard to create this community, and have provided a certain level of trust and privacy for our members. If they choose to participate in a FB Roll Call, they'll have to learn about it somewhere other than Cruise Critic.

We request that you not solicit people to your Facebook page on any of our ROLL CALLS.

It's pretty rotten to arrive at the pier thinking masking isn't required, only to learn after boarding that now it is.

I agree!  The Celebrity App just updated the mask requirement for our upcoming cruise on 1-16-22 on Edge.  At least they didn’t wait til we got to port.

Where on the app are you seeing the mask requirements?  We have a 2/5 on tge Reflection and 2/14 on the Silhouette and don’t see anything about masks

Spoke too soon. It used to say unvaccinated. Now it shows all guests. 
 

we’re planning on going apex this weekend. It’s too much. Not anyones fault but I’m not rebooking. We had the first cruise cancelled on edge 3/15/20 a day before departure, it’s been rebooked 4x already and with my wife being due in July, we can’t cruise by the end of the year. 
 

Stress is the amount of ifs. Have to hope the CVS has tests we’re scheduled for Thursday, have to pass the tests, then have to hope the flight isn’t cancelled, then worry about being quarantined if we get Covid. 
 

We’ll stay on the ship, try and distance in the outdoor retreat area, and hope for the best. I don’t think this will be enjoyable until it’s over and we’re hopefully back home and done with 3 years of planning this.
