And I see the room controls

But I don't think they work until I'm actually in the cabin

The room controls are neat.  I didn’t know they had it.

May I ask if you received confirmation of your dinner reservations from Mohamed? I emailed him our preferences last eeek. He acknowledged them but don’t see them on the app yet and not sure if we should handle it once they let us on.

Our suite concierge reservations populated sometime the afternoon of the first day on Oasis. I know this because he also prescheduled shows for us (that he volunteered to change later, if we wanted). I was trying to schedule the ice show for that week on the app early the first afternoon, and the app admonished me, basically said not to be a show hog and let others have a chance to schedule. 😳😂 I went and looked, and lo and behold, concierge magic had added all to our schedule. YMMV

Please give John a big huge then tell him it’s from me.  ☺️

You and Bucky have a great cruise and a safe trip to the port.

Thanks!  We are here...crazy traffic an hour out from Ft. Lauderdale, to be expected.  But no traffic jams.  On board just after 11:30, nice lunch in CK.  🙂   Got all my dining reservations made, now need to make show reservations...can't seem to do it on the frustrating "app".   😣

Nice JS (4) forward cabin on the aft hump, great view down the sides of the ship.  No full suite this time, when I booked...the full suites had been sold out for months.  The "Royal UP" was a failure, and I am happy to keep this for both legs...not going to ask for upgrade at GS.

Best show ever for me (after the first 10 minutes or so)! I've seen it 3 times so far and will go again when on Odyssey Feb 6 🙂

Cabins were ready at 1:45 😁

But we couldn't hear the announcement in 270😉

Luckily I asked one of the muster station crew, and off we went.

First impression was nice

Glad you made it safe.  I didn’t know JS could do lunch in CK.  Is CK open breakfast and lunch for JS?   The GS upgrade is tempting but I am sure you will enjoy what you got and you don’t have to move around.

This looks sweet.  Nice space in the living room.  Did you try the control on the app?

Obviously luggage arrived. Came around 3:30.

Also met Louis, are suite attendant right before that. He seems nice.

Laura had 3 requests.  Extra blanket, early clean in the morning, and NO towel animals.

All I wanted was a feather pillow. Probably need to ask for a second compass as well. Will do that tonight

Different Walgreens have different tests, some offer the rapid antigen (usually get results in an hour & the PCR(2-3 days) , others offer the ID NOW which is an NAAT which is rapid PCR (results in 24 hrs or less.

  • There are two common types of diagnostic COVID-19 tests and we accept either one:
    • A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test
    • An antigen test, also called a rapid antigen test

Thank you for clarifying that.

Oh, and we visited the LA, Allen, to confirm the milestone. Gave us a form to fill out, and took our picture for presentation.

Apparently they're not doing them on the stage this week. Laura is bummed, but we'll make do. Ces la vie'.
