Back at Karaoke, same singers, hardly ever changes. I miss the days of drunk Karaoke.

This is like Americal Idol wannabes 😉

We stopped off at the cabin, then tried to find you there...you hide well!  One woman was good, then the "others" came on stage!!  😵

We stayed upstairs, and decided to play "too many wines" pool game.  Pretty funny...we are bad enough as it is...but with a few adult beverages...even funnier!  😄

The Book was fantastic, really happy we were able to get in.  Though will pick different seats next time, missed the view of about 1/4 of the dancers being behind the "big book" .

Casual observation.

The amount of people stopping by late night for Cokes and waters with their leftover C&A vouchers is staggering.

Grab some beers for God's sake🤣🤣

LOL!  I found it working for me to fill a couple of glasses of water at Cafe 270 after my morning walk, and take them up to the cabin to refill a couple of my bottles. Stash in the fridge.

Much better than the tap water in the sink (high chorine taste 😛) since the dispenser is filtered.

Pat, if you can, please give us more comparisons of Oasis vs. Odyssey. And the newest picture of you that John posted is FABULOUS.  No wind. Hair in place.  A great smile, a handsome man sitting next to you. There you go!

Not that anyone asked but I honestly prefer seating with arm rests.

Show looks very entertaining.  Fabulous costumes and settings.

OK...will post my comments after John has his chance.  😉

Yes, we had two very comfy seats for the show, though part of our view was blocked.  Those couches in the middle with the best view ....are like sitting on a rock (just like our couch in the cabin 😣).

I had those for apps last night as well...super yummy!  Pretty much could have been my whole dinner.  Could barely eat the pasta for dinner we ordered!  😮

It must be too early in the morning. When I read this I was thinking what do apps and eating have to do with each other?🤔🙄

This has been a great post.  We are sailing on the Odyssey in April(2 adults and daughters 8 and 12).  I have a couple of questions.   Is there anywhere to get good Hot Chocolate?  I didn't see anything on the Cafe 270 menu I found.  Also, what about Milkshakes or smoothies?   My daughters have been asking, but I haven't been able to find any of these on the Odyssey menus so far.  Thanks!

My biggest issue with the cabin tap water is it never gets cool. There are only two temps... warm and hot. It is bad enough brushing my teeth with it never mind drinking it.

LOL!!   Me...I am not "the other app" type person...only one I use (since they pretty much make you use it) is the Royal app.  Tech dinosaur I am.  John is the expert in that field.  😉

Thanks Graham my friend....but I will never, ever come close to being the elegant lady that your beautiful wife Pauline is.  She is soooo photogenic!  🥰

Thank you Pat.

Pauline said you looked lovely and elegant in the picture John posted of you and Bucky sitting in the theatre.

It sounds like you,Bucky,John and Lala are all having a wonderful cruise.

Graham.

Ours is not bad...in fact takes a few minutes for the hot water to find us.  😮  But never really cold.

I bring the water cups I fill at the filtered dispenser to the cabin, refill my bottles, then stick them in the fridge.  Can't really tell it from the ship's bottled water.  And of course that is what you have at meals.

I took on my allowed 12 bottles of water...but I blow though those fast.  So I keep them to refill.

Awww...far too kind...as usual my friend.  But I do agree, that is a handsome man sitting next to me.  😉

Yes, we are enjoying it.  Pulling in to Aruba right now.  Time for coffee.  😄

So do I. Those also look like low back seats unless I'm not seeing it righr. What is up with that?

Kinda like the bleachers in Aqua Theater

But padded😉

Maybe they're Bleachettes

Does "The Book" have some sort of plot or theme? What is it about? The pictures are certainly very impressive.

Not really, but all 7 chapters tie into what happens in first 10 minutes.

But then again, Showgirls is also just a bunch of numbers thrown together.

And Seriously, neither show is that much different than CATS if your looking for a story😉

If we are only going to The Book once, where should we sit?  Same question for the Effectors…. Thx!!

Hard to say. It's kinda like a 3 ring circus. Stuff is going on all around you, so if you're up front, you'll be spinning around constantly. Also there is a lot of site line blockage in the mid tier due to cast entrance points from below.

The CD mentions watching it a few times from different vantage points

I'll see if I can map out the venue some afternoon

I'll see what I can find

Typically they have powdered hot chocolate in Cafe Promenade

I found it interesting that we don't have cans of water

I detest those cans!!  uggh....can't recap them...except for the rare larger ones.  Happy to have the few bottles they gave me.  🙂

On Harmony I took the cans from the SL and used them to refill my empty plastic bottles.  😉

I really like Aruba. I hope you all have a great day.

Mostly sunny, warm and up to 82 degrees today.  Here all day until all aboard at 10:30.

Going out for walk around in a couple of hours.  Nice relaxing breakfast with a view of the island this morning.  No John and Lala though.  Must be sleeping in.  😉
