Can I ask a related question? I'd like to bring some 28oz Powerade Zero plastic bottles with me. 12 x 17oz cans is 204oz. So... can I bring 7 28oz bottles, which is a total of 196oz, or will 28oz bottles be prohibited?

And yes, I know Powerade comes in 20oz bottles. So that may be an option too, if 20oz bottles are not prohibited.

Thanks!

Supposed be 17oz each or less, also if opened cant take it onboard. MIGHT get through, though seen many left behind/Trashed when too many or wrong size

Can I bring a 24 pack of Coke Zero on board into my Owner's Suite on SotS? I've done it before a few years ago, but didn't know if anything had changed. Thanks!

You can afford an Owner‘s Suite but try to save a few Dollars by carrying a lot of bottles or cans into it?

We always bring on Diet Mt Dew in cans for my wife. I put a 12 pack on my rolling carryon, she puts a 12 pack on her carryon......never had a problem. We use two elastic straps to hold the 12 pack in place.

Yup, Diet Dew. Carry on in my Back Pack and been doing this on Royal Ships over 2 Decades, 12 Bottles though. Was one thing liked on NCL Ships having Vending Machines with Dt Dew Bottles for purchase

Carnival has now gone to Pepsi products and carries Diet Mountain Dew.

Can you do 2 six packs of bottles as opposed a a single 12 pack of cans?

I thought it had to be cans so you dont spike your coke in advance.  Are we sure bottles are allowed?

Please read what I posted as the first post.  The website doesn't specify cans.  I read that Carnival won't allow bottles, but this is NOT Carnival.

I wouldnt shlep a bunch of cans around , but thats me.

Ship water is fine with me.

I agree when flying in.  Our next trip we can drive to the port.  Cost for two UBP right now @$60 + 18% x 2 = $991.  We can get by on 3 drinks a day each.  Including 2 bottles of wine and soda we bring on, it's about $300 less.  I'll schlep them for an hour.

I am oblivious to the cost of the drink packages as i am not much of a drinker and stopped drinking soda more than 30 years ago.

I had no idea people spend  a1000 bucks a week while cruising .

And 300 bucks is significant .

Im in a crown loft next cruise and wont be taking much advantage of the included beverages.

Got that right, between what I bring and my Free stuff havent Bought a Drink on Royal in 20+ yrs. Cost that UBP you listed is more then 2 of my next 3 Cruise. Worth it to carry in my Back Pack for hr.

I have often brought 2 6 pks of 16.9oz Pepsi Zero onto Oasis in September and Symphony in November.  No issues for me.  I am a Pepsi fan, but will drink Coke Zero when out and about on the ship.  The Freestyle machine has it and I have got cans of it in the Casino and the Pool bar.  The Pepsi Zero is my morning drink of choice, so I have one in the morning.  Only problem for me is the 12 limit applies to a b2b also, so I have to make it last.  I have toyed with trying to convince my son (same stateroom) carry in an additional 6pk.  Pre-pandemic, we were able to bring more.
