Laundry question

You can always pay for another bag and/or use the self-service laundry. I have actually never used the free bags of laundry I have available. The self-service laundry is one of the social centers on the ships.

There used to be an offer of a reduced price bag of laundry once per cruise.

Could work out less expensive than paying by item, depending on what one includes in the bag.

I don't know whether that is still happening as it is now over 2 years since we last cruised.

Our March 2020 cruise was cancelled, as were others subsequently.

The self serve laundry on deck 7 has six washers and six dryers.

Laundry liquid (capsules) suited to the machines is (or was) provided free of charge.

I'm enjoying my newly form-fitting clothes – courtesy of Oceania laundry service.  Plan to stick to the launderette on future cruises...

Yea, you need to be careful what you send out vs do yourself.

No reduced bag offer on the cruise just ended.

How did that work?

We had plenty of complimentary bags so didn’t need to purchase so I don’t really know.  I just remember seeing packages offered, maybe for three bags and daily bags…

You can stuff a lot of clothes in that one bag.

Yea we have used bags many times on other lines.  We are converting our cruise business from a line where we had free unlimited laundry so just trying to get the lay of the land.

Interesting, how does one get complimentary bags?  Is that a TA perk or a loyalty club benefit?

As noted by @wjfan417 a loyalty perk, also as an inclusion with the extras in a more expensive stateroom :

Thanks, I wondered if higher level staterooms might get that.

As an aside, we have just boarded the Quest, our first AZ cruise.  Love the size and feel, lots of wood.
