Tender ports in HI.  Not going to work with OA class.

Better to keep her in the Atlantic.

well that is such a shame.   I am hearing after Icon RCI will then make smaller ships like Radiance size or slightly bigger. time will tell

They can want all day long. The O class does not tender. That leaves out Catalina Island and I have doubts that it could fit into Ensenada or many of the Mexican Riviera ports if any at all. Cabo is a tender port. Also, there is no current terminal out here that could handle this size ship. Won’t happen for many years if ever. Also, there’s nothing keeping RCI from doing cruises to Hawaii now with the NV.

what is NV?

Read an article this morning that stated Michael Bayley alluded to a possible seventh Oasis class ship after Utopia on the media tour of the Icon yesterday.

wow they just do not know when to stop given the new ICON CLASS.  Frankly I wish they would do more Quantum class.

I've heard people state they want Royal to do that, but I've yet to see Royal say it.

I a hearing more whisperings and even one of the captains has mentioned it.  I think Radiance class and Quantum class are the best of all.

Nothing as small as Radiance.  project Discover is next up and projected to be around 130 - 135k tons (Voyager or Edge class size)

Nah, I will believe it when I actually see it. If I am wrong I will fully admit it.

You think they release itineraries in June 2023?

I’ll take that size……although we love Radiance class ships the best.

Will utopia have dual home ports? Will it sail and have bookable TA cruises in 2024?

We don't know yet.  My best guess is no but I have nothing to support that guess.

Time will tell.

I don't know how you pulled off this masterful hack LOL

Seriously, it sure as hell looks like you guys are right and I am wrong. I am still utterly shocked Royal would do this. Maybe they are figuring that the people who would want 7 day cruise will just book B2B 4/3 cruises. Again, does not make sense to me.

but

I AM CONVINCED of it now 🙂 - I was WRONG

No, they will just book Wonder from the same port.

Can you see prices?

Summer sailings from the land of Disney on a new ship going to Cococay?

Prices will be the highest ever seen. Those over the water cabanas at Coco Beach Club may hit 5 digit numbers.

You may actually be able to take a Disney cruise for only a little more money.

RCL's debt will be paid off by the end of 2024.

LOL

And skip/miss the new ship?

The new ship that's likely to be very similar to Wonder? Sure. Otherwise, yes, they will book short trips or a 3/4 B2B (as you suggested) if Utopia is that important to them. It won't matter to Royal, both ships will be full and this gets more guests to Cococay... a cash cow for them.

Yup. Utopia is a utopia for the Royal bean counters. 🙂

I think the really takeaway here is that I should have never doubted @John&LaLa
