rockmom Posted April 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) I know the next 'sale' is right around the corner, but I was looking at the Planner for my 3 upcoming cruises this year. The DBP is now a base price of $102 per person, per day for the 3 and 5 night sailings, and 'cheaper' on the 7 night with a base price of $98 pppd. $75.99 is the final price per person when you do the buy one, get one at 50% off. Before gratuities, of course. Edited April 18, 2022 by rockmom

dcgrumpy Posted April 18, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 18, 2022 It's still $66 for my May Harmony cruise. It jumped from $69 to $78 for my July Mariner cruise. It now shows a base price of $105! 😮

There's no ship anywhere that I know of on which you'd pay $102/day. And even the on board MSRP is not set as discounts happen all the time there too.

As long as enough people purchase it, it's at the right price for the COMPANY. Personally, I'd have to see ~$50/day before I'd even consider it.

I would bet that it was never actually $102, except maybe for some 1 minute period in the middle of the night, so that they could claim that it really was that price and that it's now on sale. billslowsky Posted April 18, 2022 #17 Share Posted April 18, 2022 Easier to maintain blood alcohol level at high levels over 3 days than over 7. Probably representative of the per day drinking on the length of the cruise.
