Rare Ukigirl Posted May 12, 2022 Author #151 Share Posted May 12, 2022 Walked around the shops again, Pringles? Because there’s not enough food on board lol @John&LaLasorry, no Chanel other then this clear one, I had my card out ready to buy Lala her bag but tell her she’d be proud of me, I’ve been wearing my Lilly and getting lots of compliments. They are setting up for the Invicta 😬 and sterling silver sale frenzy. I told hubs I’d buy him an Imvicta and his reply was “don’t you dare”, it’s a running joke because he’s not a fan. I love sparkle but wouldn’t be caught wearing that shirt. 1
Rare Ukigirl Posted May 12, 2022 Author #152 Share Posted May 12, 2022 Made reservations for Sabor since I’m craving guacamole and tacos. For those asking about the avocado margarita, it’s tasty. I was expecting a thicker version kinda like a smoothie but he just puts a tiny piece in, can’t really taste it. I do recommend the jalapeño margarita, it’s really good. Smoking isn’t allowed on balcony, right? I e got some neighbors two doors down who aren’t following the rules and the smoke is drifting my way 😡

The water was shallow and still, and there was no wind. We loved it. We fed some fish in the water with hot dog and hamburger buns. Better food for them and you will have a swarm all around for pictures if you have underwater camera.

Not that I would want to buy anchovy paste and then drop it into water. At home we buy koi fish food for ponds (but they don't like it).

The paste is in a tube like toothpaste. Take off the cap, squeeze a little and enjoy the show. Ive done a lot of underwater photography and video and this is the best stuff for me.

Let me tell ya, I watched Alejandro pour that liquor and then top of off with a drop of Coke and sour mix 😝. That’s actually a great drink to order if you don’t have the package, you really get the bang for your buck. I have been drinking tons of water and mostly just finish about half my cocktails so feeling fine but will be detoxing next week. Going to a slot pull at casino at 3:30, never done that before so looking forward to it. Come on big money 💰 Oh i've always told people you want a good buzz drink 2 long island on a cruise and then switch to something else and you will be good all day
Rare Ukigirl Posted May 13, 2022 Author #161 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Sabor wasn’t worth the $30 + gratuities but I’m still on vacation. Best part was guacamole and chips. The calamari tasted like thickly fried rubber bands. I got the fish tacos and ended up eating them with my chips instead of the soft flour tortillas. Maybe it was me but for the first time I felt like everyone was staring at me, not because of my stunning beauty but because I was alone. Meh, maybe it was just me missing my other half. I got some of my food in a carryout container but fridge is so tiny that it didn’t fit. That’s ok because I was so stuffed. Early night because I was excited for Cococay.
Rare Ukigirl Posted May 13, 2022 Author #162 Share Posted May 13, 2022 I grabbed a gladiator of wine and sat on balcony, it was a beautiful evening and pictures cannot capture the colors. Oh and I slept for two nights with this light on before I found the tiny switch 🫤

Rare OCSC Mike Posted May 13, 2022 #164 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Thanks for the Sabor review. Being taken there (yes, I'm a hostage) by my BIL/SIL on Harmony. I haven't heard many positive reviews besides the margaritas but I'm not picky and rarely get to eat Mexican. I'm sure it will be fine... and like any other meal, there's always WJ after that... and Sorrentos after that... 2

Rare Ukigirl Posted May 13, 2022 Author #170 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Leaving Coco Cay soon and unfortunately it wasn’t a perfect day. I was super excited so got to Chill Island early, plopped my stuff down and walked around exploring. I planned on spending some time chilling by the pool but it was…. chilly. I was able to get the chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks, thanks for the suggestion of stuffing the sandwich with the mozzarella, gooey goodness! I also got my first ever dessert of the week, the funnel cake. It was crunchy and greasy and fabulous, took me back to my teenage years going to Cedar Point. The skies were looking ominous, soon we heard thunder and lifeguards were directing people out of the water. We headed back to the ship and it rained for couple hours 😤☔️. Sat in Solarium for awhile then headed back to room. Of course now it’s nice and ☀️☀️.

Rare Ukigirl Posted May 14, 2022 Author #173 Share Posted May 14, 2022 My last meal was tapas to go from Vintages, Italian ham with tomatoes and garlic bread and crab cakes. I enjoyed my meal while looking at my beautiful view on the balcony ❤️ .
Rare Ukigirl Posted May 14, 2022 Author #174 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Well I’m at the airport waiting to catch my flight to Detroit, it’s been delayed for half hour so that’s not too bad. The terminal has been remodeled so it’s much nicer and construction seems to be complete. Here’s some final thoughts… Pros: Beautiful ship, perfect weather except for some rain yesterday. I cannot say enough good things about the crew especially my cabin attendant, they all work extremely hard and always have a smile on their faces (even with masks). The shows were fantastic, Mama Mia was just as good as any show on Broadway, don’t miss Aqua show and comedian was good too. I really enjoyed the tapas at Vintages, it’s a great place to sit and relax if that’s your thing. I enjoyed Izumi as well. I liked finding everything daily on app, thought I’d miss Cruise Compass but nope. Lots of washy washy stations added and they limited number of people into Park Cafe. The salads there were delicious. Cons: don’t get me started on Windjammer, we used to eat there often but quality just wasn’t there, selections were slim and it seemed like they served the same food every day except for a few additions. Since the ship was almost full, they should have opened entire venue instead of keeping half closed. Saw some coughing going on (place hand over mouth to cough and then grab tongs for food 😡). A cruise wouldn’t be a cruise without chair hogs, right? I did have advantage traveling solo since I could always find a deck chair for myself. Looking forward to coming home, I miss my Elliot (shhh, don’t tell him) and my fur balls. I’m so happy I went for it, would I travel solo again? Only if I didn’t really have a choice and with all the pics I sent hubs (his response was “you’re killing me”) 😏 I think he’s learned his lesson and will take the time off to travel. Next cruise is in November, trying Celebrity for r the first time. 12
